SE DESCRIBE UN PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA PREPARACION DE UN SOLVATO CRISTALINO CON DIMETILFORMAMIDA DEL ACIDO 7-(D)-2-AMINO-2-(4-HIDROXIFENIL)ACETAMIDO-3-(Z)-1-PROPENIL-CEF-3-EM-4-CARBOXILICO QUE CONSISTE EN PONER EN CONTACTO DICHO ACIDO CARBOXILICO CON AL MENOS 1,5 MOLES DE DIMETILFORMAMIDA POR MOL DE ACIDO EN UN DISOLVENTE INERTE EN EL QUE EL SOLVATO ES INSOLUBLE. EL SOLVATO ASI OBTENIDO ES ESTABLE EN ALMACENAMIENTO Y ES UTIL PARA LA SINTESIS DE ANTIBIOTICOS DE CEFALOSPORINA.
