Abstract

This fusible head for screw-type tightening elements consists of the association of a part for receiving the tightening force and of a part driven by the former, both screwed internally in mutual correspondence, with a part for coupling the former two in an axial through-orifice thereof for the insertion in its ends of the aforesaid receiving and driven parts, the first of these projecting axially from the coupling part which has a section reduction, transverse to the axis of the orifice, which has a section which will rupture at a level of torsion predetermined as a function of the desired tightening torque. A device is produced with limited tightening torque which, in its working position, acts as a locknut.
