Abstract

The invention relates to a free-wheel engaging device, especially a ratchet screwer to actuate screwed parts, wherein two counter-revolving free wheels(10) are arranged in an axial sequence in the cylindrical inner area (10) of the engaging body (1). The engaging section (16) of the shaft (15) arranged in the inner orifice thereof co-operates with the free wheels and can be brought to engage with one of the two free-wheels if required, thereby enabling engagement to be switched from left to right.
