Abstract

Procedure for obtaining a plant extract with activity in the treatment of cognitive and/or neuroimmune dysfunctions. It involves selecting bracken plants, drying them to a residual moisture content less than 7%, grinding the resultant plant material to particle sizes less than 3 mm, extracting the ground product in three phases, concentrating the extracts and subjecting the concentrate to liquid-liquid extraction through ion exchange resins and subsequent clarification with activated charcoal.
