CONSISTE EN EL MEZCLADO DE LAS PARTICULAS FINAS CON UNA CIERTA CANTIDAD DE POLIMERO QUE ACTUA COMO AGENTE DE AGLOMERACION, SEGUIDO DE UN PRENSADO DE LA MEZCLA USANDO MATRICES RIGIDAS DE MOLDEO PARA OBTENER LOS AGLOMERADOS O BRIQUETAS POR COMPACTACION MEDIANTE PRESION, CONSIGUIENDOSE LA INTIMA UNION Y LIGAZON ENTRE LAS PARTICULAS FINAS Y EL POLIMERO AGLOMERANTE. SE EMPLEAN POLIMEROS TERMOPLASTICOS Y POLIMEROS TERMOENDURECIBLES COMO AGENTES DE AGLOMERACION. LAS BRIQUETAS Y AGLOMERADOS PUEDEN SER UTILIZADOS DIRECTAMENTE EN LA INDUSTRIA SIDERURGICA Y METALURGICA, A DIFERENCIA DE LAS PARTICULAS FINAS QUE NO PUEDEN SER EMPLEADAS CON FACILIDAD EN ESTAS INDUSTRIAS PUESTO QUE EL PEQUEÑO DIAMETRO DISMINUYE SU RENDIMIENTO DE ALEACION Y COMPLICA LA DOSIFICACION.
