Dies ist darauf zurückzuführen, dass es bei letzterer wegen des Wegfalls eines quer in der Rohrleitung zum Siphon sitzenden Hebegestänges weniger leicht zu Verschmutzungen kommen kann, so dass der Reinigungsaufwand insgesamt deutlich verringert ist. Im Übrigen kann der Ventilkörper wegen des Wegfalls des Hebegestänges auch hinsichtlich seiner Baulänge deutlich kürzer ausgebildet sein, was dessen Handhabbarkeit und Reinigung ebenfalls erleichtert und zu geringeren Herstellungskosten führt.
