Description

Field of the invention

The present invention relates to a collapsible bag such as a shopping bag, shopping bag or tote which can take an expanded form to receive products and a less bulky storage collapsed form.

Such collapsible bags are known in multiple embodiments. Being generally made of welded plastic, these bags have drawbacks in particular of environmental pollution. Purpose of the invention

The present invention aims to develop a shopping bag or the like, offering good capacity while having an extremely simple and reduced grouped shape when the bag is emptied of its contents. The bag must in particular be able to be taken away regularly without causing any particular discomfort, to be used when the time comes.

Presentation and advantages of the invention

To this end, the present invention relates to a folding bag according to claim 1.

The folding bag according to the invention has the advantage of being very compact and thus being able to be easily stored in a handbag to be always available. It deploys very easily by simply inserting an object to be transported in the bag. It is then sufficient to hold the two straps so that the handles develop automatically.

Conversely, for storage, once the bag has been emptied, just pull on the two ends so that the folds reform automatically. You can then fold and roll up the bag.

The bag can be made in different dimensions depending on its use.

On another advantageous feature the assemblies of the ends of the bag are reinforced by transverse bands provided on the top / bottom of each end. These reinforcing bands properly restore the forces exerted by the load carried on the handles.

It also strengthens the overall hold and overall resistance.

On another feature, before the ends of the bag, the straps, the sleeves and each top band are joined by a complementary assembly. These complementary assemblies on each side, that is to say before each end, constitute second assembly points which reduce the width available between these two assembly points to form the two handles so as to reduce the length of the handles. and the size of the deployed and loaded bag.

These complementary assemblies in no way reduce the compactness of the bag or the possibility of reforming the folds to reduce the bulk before folding and winding the bag.

Description of embodiments of the invention

According to figures 1-3 , the invention relates to a folding bag (100) such as a shopping bag, shopping bag or tote which can take an unfolded form to receive products and a form picked up by its storage.

The figures 1 to 3 represent the bag at different scales.

The bag (100) is shown laid flat, elongated ( figure 1 ) after being unfolded and used. This elongated flat state with the alignment of the folds is effected by a traction exerted on the two ends (5) also called assemblies of the ends (5). From this stretched state, one can fold one end assembly (5) over the other and arrive at a folded flat shape ( figure 2 ) and even a coiled shape ( figure 3 ) extremely compact to store in a handbag and to be able to be taken to be always available. In the rolled up state, the bag (100) has a very low volume. The figure 1 reveals a deformation in the middle of the length of the bag flat. This is a natural deformation coming from the fold made at the figure 2 . This deformation emphasizes the flexibility of the bag and also highlights the two parts of the straps (4) serving as handles for the bag.

The elongated shape of the bag (100) of the figure 1 reveals the structure of the bag with the two stacks of folds (2), parallel, forming in the deployed state, the two walls of the bag and the assemblies, reinforced by a transverse band (51) on the top and the bottom.

One of the end assemblies (5) is provided with an elastic loop (52) which serves to hold the rolled up bag ( figure 3 ).

Winding can be done in a spiral from the folded part ( figure 2 ) or after a new folding and final winding giving the shape shown in figure 3 .

The figure 2 shows the underside of the bag (100) formed by a bottom strip (1) occupying the entire width of the bag when folded, folded and rolled up.

A strap (4) in the form of a resistant and non-elastic band covers the top band (3) being engaged in the two sheaths (32) and remaining free in the middle zone (33). This strap (4) is a strip of width less than that of the top strip (3) and the sleeves (32) have a width adapted to that of the strap (4).

The two ends (11) of the bottom band (1), the two ends (21) of each of the stacks (2) including those (31) of the top bands (3) and the ends (41) of the two straps (4) are assembled transversely to be integral in traction in the longitudinal direction (xx).

The two assemblies (5) of the ends (11, 21, 31, 41) thus produced, which have a certain width in the longitudinal direction, form grips allowing the bag to be pulled to automatically reform the folded structure which had been unfolded to open. the bag and use it.

The two stacks (2) which are preferably symmetrical in cross section do not necessarily have the same number of folds (22) and the same deployed surface. But in the longitudinal direction, the structure has the same length (a) to exert the tensile forming / reformation of the folds (22).

These folds (22) necessarily reform under the effect of a traction exerted on the assemblies of the ends (5) since the folds (22) are fixed by their meeting at the ends (5).

According to one embodiment, the whole of the bag (100), of its bottom strip (1) and of its two stacks of folds (2) is produced in a folded sheet and assembled by welds and / or seams and / or collages.

The strap (4) is preferably made of a material or structure resistant to the tensile forces exerted by the load placed in the bag. The assemblies (5) can advantageously be reinforced by transverse bands (51), for example pieces of strap transversely distributing the forces exerted on the assembled ends (11, 21, 31, 41).

According to a variant, the strap (4) is connected not only by its two ends (41) to the transverse assembly but in addition, it is secured to the top band (3) in an assembly zone (6) of so that the free part of each of the two straps (4) inside its sleeves (32) is limited and does not reach the assembly zone (5) at each of the two ends.

The figure 8 shows very schematically the deployment of the bag (100) to receive a load. The fold lines (22) are expressed to suggest the deployment of each of the stacks (2). In reality, when an object is introduced into the pocket formed by the bag, the folds largely disappear from the walls except at the two ends where the folds join the two end assemblies (5) which freeze locally.

The two transverse bands (51) above and those below transmit the forces to the two straps forming the handles from the assemblies complementary (6). This makes the part of the sleeves gathered up to the intermediate assemblies.

Claims (5)

1. Folding bag which opens at the top and which is provided with two handles, characterised in that it comprises

   - in the elongate folded state:
   a base strip (1) which has two ends (11) with two parallel stacks (2) of folds (22) originating from this base strip (1),

   - each stack (2) having a top strip (3) and a strap (4) which is associated with each top strip (3) and the two ends (41) of which are engaged in a sheath (32) which originates from each end (31) of the top strip (3) and which leaves the strap (4) free in the central zone (33) of the top strip (3) in order to form handles,

   - each of the two ends (11, 21, 31, 41):

   - of the base strip (1)
