  • the known drive unit has control elements on both end disks for controlling the drive unit. To disassemble and assemble the known drive unit from or to the massage body, at least one end plate must be removed. When removing or installing this end plate, electrical lines must be disconnected or connected. This makes it difficult to retrofit or replace a drive unit for an end customer or an end user.
  • the power roll also has electrical components on both end disks, as a result of which the known drive unit can only be replaced with great effort by an end customer or consumer.
  • Both of the aforementioned drive units also have at least one end plate for mounting and dismounting the drive unit, which are connected to the housing by means of one or more screws.
  • the axial length of the drive unit is fixed.
  • a portable massage device with a motor in a vibration unit of the massage device is known.
  • the engine has a flywheel that is shaped such that the rotation of the flywheel creates air currents that cool the engine.
  • projections can be attached to the flywheel.
  • vibrating drive units are arranged in the massage bodies US 2013/0281892 A1 .
  • the object of the present invention is to provide a drive unit and a massage system with such a drive unit, the drive unit being easy for a consumer to mount on a massage body of the massage system and detachable from the massage body despite the simplest design.
  • the object of the invention is thus achieved by a drive unit for a massage system.
  • the drive unit is at least in sections on a massage body of the massage system arranged.
  • the drive unit comprises an electric motor.
  • the motor is directly or indirectly connected to an unbalance, the unbalance causing the drive unit to vibrate when the motor rotates.
  • the motor and the unbalance are arranged in the housing.
  • the axial length of the housing is limited by end plates.
  • An end plate is part of a cover that is connected to the housing. The connection between the cover and the housing takes place through a cover thread in the cover, which engages in a housing thread of the housing.
  • the unbalance has a fan surface for the axial movement of air in the drive unit.
  • the fan surface is at least partially inclined to the longitudinal direction of the housing.
  • a longitudinal web running parallel to the central longitudinal axis of the housing is formed on the housing, in particular on the housing base part and / or on the housing cover part, which protrudes radially further in the axial central region of the housing than in the axial end regions of the housing.

  • the fan surface has an angle of between 1 ° and 89 °, in particular between 5 ° and 85 °, preferably between 10 ° and 80 ° to the axial longitudinal direction of the housing.
  • the unbalance thus fulfills a double function: on the one hand it causes the drive unit to vibrate when the motor rotates and on the other hand it generates an axial air movement to cool the motor.
  • the threaded connection between the cover and the housing enables an axial length adjustment of the distance between the two end plates.
  • massage bodies of different lengths can be clamped between the two end disks.
  • the drive unit according to the invention generally enables axial length compensation and thus adaptability to massage bodies of different lengths.
  • the user When installing the drive unit, the user only has to arrange the housing on the massage body and then screw the cover onto the housing until the massage body is at least partially firmly clamped by the two end plates.
