Dargestellt ist ein Stößel 1 für eine Kraftstoffhochdruckpumpe. Dieser besteht (s. Fig. 1 , 2, 6, 7) aus einem dünnwandigen Gehäuse 2 aus Stahlblech. Bei einer antriebsseitigen Ringstirn 3 des Gehäuses 2 liegen sich zwei von einem Außenmantel 4 des Gehäuses 2 eingerückte Flachs 5 diametral gegenüber, die gut aus Fig. 6 erkennbar sind. In den Flachs 5 ist ein eine Rolle 6 tragender Bolzen 7 gelagert. Shown is a plunger 1 for a high-pressure fuel pump. Ein Innenmantel 8 des Gehäuses 2 ist axial unterhalb der Rolle 6 von einem separaten, balkenartigen Brückenstück 9 durchragt (s. Fig. 1 , 2, 7), mit dessen abtriebsseitiger Stirn 10 ein als Pumpenkolben ausgebildetes Stößelfolgeteil 1 1 in Kontakt ist. Wie zu erkennen ist, liegt das Brückenstück 9 in Richtung zur antriebsseitigen Ringstirn 3 an Unterseiten 12 der Flachs 5 an (s. Fig. 1 , 7). In Richtung zu einer abtriebsseitigen Ringstirn 13 des Gehäuses 2 erfolgt dessen spielfreie Halterung durch einen am Innenmantel 8 fixierten Ring 14 (s. a. Fig. 5), welcher ein gesprengtes Federband ist. Der Ring 14 sitzt in einer umlaufenden Nut 15 des Innenmantels 8 des Gehäuses 2 und ragt nicht in den Stößelinnenraum hinein. Die vorgenannten abgebogenen Laschen 17 sitzen dabei in einer Ringaussparung 20 in einer Oberseite 21 des Ringbereichs 20 des Federtellers 18.
