Claims (6)

  1. Seating furniture in the form of a bench (10) having a backrest (11) and a seating surface (12) with two rear support legs (13) arranged in the plane of the backrest (11) and two front support legs (14) arranged in the respective front, outer corner regions of the seating surface (12), characterized in that the seating surface (12) is divided perpendicularly to the plane of the backrest (11) and each seating surface part (25) formed thereby, in addition to its front support leg (14), has at least one inner support leg (16) and whereby the two seating surface parts (25) are pivotal about their respective rear support leg (13) into a seating position that is transverse to the backrest (11) and the backrest (11), which is pivotally mounted on a main frame, can be pivoted out of its backrest position between the outwardly-pivoted seating surface parts (25) into a table position that is horizontal and at a vertical distance from the seating surface of the seating surface parts (25), and can be fixed in this table position using a support (21), which is mounted on the main frame (18).
  2. Seating furniture according to claim 1, in which the backrest (11) is pivotable about a cross bar (19) arranged at an upper end of the main frame (18) that extends parallel to the seating surface (12).
  3. Seating furniture according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the main frame (18) has an additional cross bar (20) that extends parallel to the seating surface (12) and is arranged with a spacing to the cross bar (19) holding the backrest (11), and the support (21) that fixes the backrest (11) in its table position is pivotably mounted to the cross bar (20).
  4. Seating furniture according to one of claims 1 through 3, in which the backrest (11) extends beneath the seating surface (12) in its backrest position.
  5. Seating furniture according to one of claims 1 through 4, in which the rear support legs (13) form a one-piece component of the main frame (18) holding the backrest (11) that is pivotably mounted to the main frame (18).
  6. Seating furniture according to one of claims 1 through 5, in which each seating surface part (25) has an inner support leg (16), which, respectively, is arranged centrally beneath the separating strips (15) of the seating surface parts (25) that contact one another in the pivoted-in position.
