Description
The invention relates to a lidding film for containers, wherein the lidding film is provided with a weakening line for tearing.
B. Messer. Ferner bleiben häufig Fetzen beim Aufschneiden der Deckelfolie übrig. The lidding film can be attached to trays, cups or the like as the sole packaging closure. In particular, the lidding film is intended for glass containers and plastic containers, which are closed with a lid, in particular a screw cap, and are used for packaging foodstuffs. The foods may be, for example, dry powder, instant coffee and the like. The cover film applied to the edge of the glass or plastic container forms a tamper-evident closure and protects the packaged food from moisture, loss of flavor and the like until it is first removed. In particular, when a cap is screwed onto the sealed with the lid film packaging, which allows a re-closure after the first opening of the packaging, the lid film must not have on the circumference of the packaging tab, since the screw would damage the tab and thus the lid film , In practice, as a lidding film for packages having a screw cap for reclosing, paper composite materials are often used. The removal of the cover film is cumbersome and not very user-friendly. To open you usually need aids such. As knives. Furthermore, scraps often remain when cutting the lid film.

Against this background, the invention has for its object to provide a lidding film for container, which is pressed when opening the container and allows user-friendly handling.
The object of the invention and solution of this problem is a cover film according to
The cover foil is provided with a weakening line for tearing open the cover foil. In addition to a section of the weakening line, an indentation region is provided, which has at least the size of a fingertip and is bounded on at least one side of its surface by a tear line. The tear line delimiting tear line protrudes from the weakening line into a region of the lid foil, which extends along the Weakening line detachable portion of the lidding film is adjacent. The section adjoining the indentation region and separable from the cover film preferably has the shape of a tongue.
When used as intended, the lidding film is mounted on the edge of a container, wherein the attachment can be made by an adhesive bond or a sealed connection. The compound can also be embodied as a peelable compound in such a way that the cover film can be completely pulled off the edge of the container. To open the lid sheet applied to a container, the indentation area bounded laterally by a tear line is pressed in by applying pressure. In this case, the indentation region of the lidding film along the tear line and the adjacent weakening line separates from the remaining lidding film and releases a boundary of a section which can be separated from the lidding film. The exposed boundary can then be grasped well between two fingers to rupture the lidding film along the line of weakness. Preferably, the exposed boundary has the shape of a tongue. Depending on the course of the weakening line, the cover foil can be torn open spirally or torn open as a sheet along an annular line of weakness near the edge of the container. In the case of a peelable connection between the cover film and the container edge, the cover film can also be completely removed from the container edge in the course of the tearing process.
For the arrangement and design of Eindrückbereiches there are several possibilities. A first preferred embodiment of the invention provides that the indentation region is bounded by the tear line and an edge zone of the cover film on a container. A further advantageous embodiment of the invention provides that the indentation is limited by two tear lines, starting from the boundary in a projecting on the tongue adjacent area of the lidding film. Suitably, the tear lines are aligned radially. The impressing region laterally delimited by two tear lines can be arranged in a middle region of the cover film or in a region close to the wall near the container wall of a container closed by the cover film. According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the indentation region is arranged close to the container wall and the tear-open areas bounding tear lines extend to the edge of the lidding film or an edge zone of the lidding film which can be fastened to the container.
An advantageous embodiment of the invention provides that the weakening line for tearing open the cover film has two ends, wherein a first end extends to the edge of the cover film and wherein the second end of the weakening line extends in a tear strip limiting distance to the edge of the cover film. The lid film is suitably attached in this embodiment by means of a peelable compound on the edge of a container and can be torn spirally along the tear strip and removed without residue from the edge of the container. In order for the lidding film to be completely removed from the container in one piece, the second end of the line of weakness has a spiraling portion bounding the crack propagation, the spiraling portion being bent back to the line of weakness. By this configuration, the crack propagation ends at a defined and defined by the spiral formation point. The still adhering part of the lidding film can then be removed in one go from the edge of the container
A further advantageous embodiment of the invention provides that the weakening line forms a closed ring. The line of weakness runs near the container edge. The embodiment described is particularly suitable when the lid film is secured by an adhesive bond or a non-peelable sealing compound on the edge of a container. The container may have any geometry in plan view.
The lidding film may consist of a laminate which has two or more layers. The cover film preferably has a carrier layer of a sealable polymer, in particular a polyethylene, and at least one further layer as a cover layer. The cover layer may in particular consist of a polyester, an oriented polypropylene or oriented polyamide. The carrier layer can in particular also be designed as a sealable peel layer. The cover film formed as a multilayer composite film expediently also has at least one intermediate layer with barrier properties. In particular, the intermediate layer can consist of a metal foil or a metallized polymer layer.
The invention teaches that the cover sheet consists of a multi-layer laminated composite and has a tendency to curl caused by tensions in the layers of the laminating composite. The curl of the lid film supports the handling when opening the package or tearing the lid foil. It causes the tongue to set up after the depression of the indentation area, which further facilitates gripping.
The line of weakness for tearing open the cover film and the tear line for limiting the indentation region pass through the cover layer and preferably leave the carrier layer intact. The weakening line and the tear lines can consist of laser cuts, punched lines or perforations introduced into the cover layer.

The
The line of
