Definitions

  • the invention relates to a device and a method for mixing beverages.
  • any proportions of previously blended product may be combined, for example, when purging pipe sections and treatment tanks or when collecting improperly sterilized or bottled final product.
  • a product line for providing a concentrate in which the formulation ingredients needed for the mixing of the beverage are contained, and which has a lower water content than the mixed beverage the concentrate and the mixed phase can be mixed to the beverage under a predetermined mixing ratio.
  • the concentrate is preferably the result of a first preparatory blending in which the ingredients of the beverage, except for the water content, are already in the same mixing ratio as in the final product.
  • the device according to the invention thus serves for final mixing by setting the desired water content of the beverage.
  • a measuring device is provided for measuring the concentration of a characteristic component of the mixed phase, and a mixing line connected to the collecting tank and the product line for admixing the mixed phase to the concentrate.
  • a metering device for adjusting the volumetric mixing ratio of the mixed phase and the concentrate is provided at the admixing line.
  • the device preferably comprises at least one line for returning a portion of ready-mixed beverage.
  • a recirculation line for circulating the mixed phase is provided at the collecting tank.
  • temporal fluctuations in the concentration of the mixed phase can be reduced.
  • the measuring device is arranged so that it can measure the concentration in the circulated mixed phase. This makes a particularly accurate determination of the concentration possible.
  • the device according to the invention further comprises an inlet-side measuring device for measuring the concentration of the characteristic constituent of the concentrate and / or an outlet-side measuring device for measuring the concentration of the characteristic constituent of the ready-mixed beverage. This makes it possible to specify and update the control of the mixed-phase dosing.
  • the device according to the invention preferably also comprises a regulating device for regulating the metering device on the basis of a concentration value determined by the inlet-side and / or the outlet-side measuring device. This makes it possible to automate the metering and to adjust it precisely to changing operating conditions.
  • the apparatus of the invention further comprises a return line for returning ready-mixed beverage from the product line to the collection tank. This makes it easy to recycle product in the piping system.
  • the apparatus of the invention further comprises a return line for returning ready mixed and heat treated beverage from a buffer tank to the collection tank. This can be used even recycled beverage again.
  • the device according to the invention further comprises a receptacle connectable to the collection tank for collecting and recycling of ready mixed and bottled or the like container bottled beverage. This will further increase the degree of recycling of ready mixed product.
  • the beverage is mixed by admixing the mixed phase to the concentrate, adjusting the volumetric mixing ratio of the mixed phase and the concentrate depending on the concentration measured in the mixing phase to adjust the concentration of the characteristic component in the blended beverage to a target value.
  • a volume flow of the admixed mixed phase is adapted to a volume flow of the supplied concentrate.
  • Such a dosage can be easily controlled with flow meters and set with dosing.
  • water is further added to adjust the target value. This allows the target value to be set more flexibly, even if the mixing phase is too concentrated or used up.
  • ready-mixed beverage from a sterile buffer tank and / or a collecting tank for emptying filled containers is returned to the mixing phase.
  • blended product can be recycled particularly efficiently.
  • the measured concentration is a sugar content, in particular a Brix value. This allows a standardized measurement method for a variety of sugary drinks use.
  • the concentration of the characteristic constituent in the beverage concentrate and / or the concentration of the characteristic constituent in the blended beverage are also measured. This allows the dosage to be controlled very precisely.
  • the concentrate and the mixed phase are combined during mixing of the beverage as continuously flowing dosing strands.
  • a continuous supply of the components to be dosed during mixing the example, a water leading metering train, enables a continuous product flow and a continuous further processing of the beverage.
  • an embodiment of the inventive device 1 for mixing a beverage 3 comprises a collecting tank 5 for collecting a mixed phase 7, in which a dilution of the ready-mixed beverage 3 is substantially.
  • the mixing phase 7 is a mixture of at least two of the following components: A) a premixed beverage concentrate 9 which already contains all the formulation components in a defined composition and is a basic component for the mixing of the beverage 3; B) ready mixed and heat-treated beverage 3 ', which is cached for example in a buffer tank, in particular in a sterile buffer tank 11, before the beverage bottling; C) ready-mixed beverage 3 ", which was already bottled and collected and cached for example in a collecting tank 13, and D) water 15, both after a product change or production stoppage from the piping system of the device 1 in the form of product water but also in the form of fresh water in the collection tank 5 can be initiated.
  • the beverage concentrate 9 is to be understood as an intermediate product mixed in a separate production step, not shown, which already corresponds to the finished mixed beverage 3 with the exception of the water content.
  • all formulation components to be taken into consideration during the mixing are already present in a desired ratio in the end product, with the exception of the water content in the beverage concentrate 9.
  • the water content, or in other words, the concentration of the beverage 3 is preferably given by means of a characteristic target value, such as the concentration of a characteristic ingredient of the beverage 3 or a corresponding substance group or a suitable characteristic constituent.
  • the concentration KA of the mixed beverage 3 is preferably given as sugar content, in particular as Brix value.
  • the to be considered in the blending and Concentrations KA, KM and KK monitored by associated measurement equipment could also be characterized by other constituents, ingredients or parameters.
  • the method according to the invention can be carried out particularly advantageously if the concentration KA, KM, KK of the characteristic constituent, preferably the sugar content, in particular the Brix value of the concentrate 9, is 2% to 25% higher than the respective value of the ready-mixed beverage 3 ,

This serves as a controlled variable for the mixing of the beverage 3, if necessary.
  • a flow meter 37 and a metering device 39, such as a control valve, for adjusting the introduced into the product line 21 volume flow VW of the water 15 is provided.
  • the water supply line 35 serves to adjust or correct the concentration KA, if necessary, in particular if this is not possible by admixing the mixed phase 7 alone. This is the case, for example, for a high concentration KM of the mixing phase 7 for a correct mixing or during the mixing of the beverage 3 when the collecting tank 5 is empty. It is irrelevant whether the water supply line 35 is arranged in the flow direction in front of or behind the admixing line 25. Dashed lines indicate an optional water supply line 36 for the collection tank. 5
