Selbstverständlich ist es auch möglich, mehrere Leuchtenelemente, die jeweils nur einfarbiges Licht ausstrahlen, aber mit unterschiedlicher farblicher Ausstattung in einer gemeinsamen Betriebsanzeige zu kombinieren. Hierzu eignen sich auch andere Technologien, zum Beispiel solche, bei denen sie in einen gemeinsamen Lichtleiter einstrahlen.
