Description

La présente invention concerne un conditionnement en un matériau semi-rigide, tel que le carton ou le carton ondulé, dans lequel des volets du type dit "rabats", articulés par des refoulages sur deux parois parallèles, peuvent être verrouillés dans une position rabattue perpendiculairement aux parois attenantes, pour maintenir le conditionnement en position fermée, et peuvent être redressés par rapport à ces parois pour l'amener en position d'ouverture. L'invention a plus particulièrement pour objet un conditionnement de ce type dans lequel, après ouverture de l'emballage, les volets peuvent être ramenés en position de fermeture et maintenus dans cette position.
De très nombreux emballages en carton ou carton ondulé comprennent des rabats de ce type. C'est en particulier le cas des caisses dites américaines, dans lesquelles deux rabats internes articulés par des refoulages sur deux parois parallèles, peuvent être amenés dans une position perpendiculaire à ces parois dans un même plan, tandis que deux autres rabats ou rabats externes, articulés par des refoulages sur deux parois perpendiculaires aux précédentes, peuvent être rabattus perpendiculairement à celles-ci pour venir au contact de la face des rabats internes non tournée vers l'intérieur de l'emballage, après remplissage de celui-ci.
Les rabats externes sont en général verrouillés dans cette position - de fermeture par divers moyens connus dans la technique, par exemple à l'aide d'un ou de plusieurs rubans adhésifs, mais, une fois ouverts, ces emballages présentent l'inconvénient qu'il n'est pas possible de les ramener en position de fermeture en maintenant de façon simple les rabats en position rabattue.
La présente invention vise à remédier à cet inconvénient en proposant un moyen simple pour maintenir les rabats en position rabattue, après la première ouverture de l'emballage, et qui se prête ainsi à des ouvertures et fermetures répétées de l'emballage.
La présente invention a par conséquent pour objet un conditionnement en un matériau semi-rigide tel que le carton ou le carton ondulé, du type défini ci-dessus, c'est-à-dire dans lequel deux rabats internes articulés par des refoulages sur deux parois parallèles, peuvent être amenés dans une position perpendiculaire à ces parois dans un même plan, tandis que deux autres rabats ou rabats externes, articulés par des refoulages sur deux parois perpendiculaires aux précédentes, peuvent être rabattus perpendiculairement à celles-ci pour venir au contact de la face des rabats internes non tournée vers l'intérieur de l'emballage, cet emballage étant caractérisé en ce que les rabats externes comportent une partie articulée sur eux par un refoulage et repliée contre la face de ces rabats tournée vers l'intérieur du conditionnement, tandis que des languettes font saillie à partir des parois auxquelles sont attenants les rabats internes en une position telle qu'en position rabattue des rabats externes, elles puissent être engagées entre ces rabats et la partie de ceux-ci repliée contre eux, afin de les verrouiller en position.
Pour avoir accès au conteneur du conditionnement, il suffit donc d'extraire les languettes de leur position d'engagement entre les rabats externes et la partie de ceux-ci repliée contre eux, pour libérer ces rabats et pouvoir les redresser, ainsi que les rabats internes.
Les opérations d'ouverture et de fermeture du conditionnement peuvent ainsi être répétées à diverses reprises ce qui est particulièrement avantageux.
Les parties repliées des rabats externes peuvent avantageusement être rendues solidaires de ceux-ci, par collage par exemple, mais ceci n'est nullement impératif, puisque ces parties prennent appui sur les rabats internes.
Les rabats externes et internes ainsi équipés de moyens de verrouillage constituent avantageusement la partie supérieure du conditionnement, tandis que la partie de fond opposée peut être de n'importe quel type connu dans la technique.
Une forme de réalisation d'un tel conditionnement en carton ondulé va être décrite ci-après plus en détail, en référence aux dessins annexés, sur lesquels :
  • La figure 1 est une vue partielle en perspective de la partie supérieure de l'emballage en position ouverte ;
  • La figure 2 est une vue analogue, avec les rabats en position de fermeture, illustrant le mode de verrouillage de ceux-ci dans cette position.
    • Comme on le voit sur les dessins, le conditionnement représenté a une section transversale rectangulaire et comprend deux parois parallèles 1, articulées par des refoulages parallèles sur deux autres parois parallèles 2.
    Les bords supérieurs des parois 1 et 2 sont situés dans un même plan perpendiculaire aux refoulages par lesquels ces parois sont articulées entre elles et, suivant ces bords, deux rabats externes 3 sont articulés sur les parois 1 et deux rabats internes 4 sur les parois 2.
    Conformément à l'invention, une partie 5 des rabats externes 3 articulée sur le reste de ces rabats par un refoulage est repliée contre la face de ceux-ci tournée vers l'intérieur du conditionnement et éventuellement rendue solidaire de cette face, par collage par exemple, tandis qu'une patte 6, découpée dans chacune des parois 2, comporte deux languettes en saillie 7, articulées par un refoulage sur le reste de la patte, en une position telle qu'en position rabattue des rabats supérieurs 3, elles puissent être engagées entre ces rabats et la partie repliée 5, pour les verrouiller en position.
    Ce système particulièrement simple permet d'ouvrir et de refermer le conditionnement à diverses reprises, sans aucun problème.
    Comme il a été indiqué ci-dessus, le fond du conditionnement peut être absolument quelconque et c'est la raison pour laquelle il n'a pas été représenté sur les dessins.

    Claims (3)

    1. Conditionnement en un matériau semi-rigide tel que le carton ou le carton ondulé, dans lequel deux rabats internes (4) articulés par des refoulages sur deux parois parallèles (2), peuvent être amenés dans une position perpendiculaire à ces parois dans un même plan, tandis que deux autres rabats (3) ou rabats externes, articulés par des refoulages sur deux parois (1) perpendiculaires aux précédentes, peuvent être rabattus perpendiculairement à celles-ci pour venir au contact de la face des rabats internes (4) non tournée vers l'intérieur de l'emballage, cet emballage étant caractérisé en ce que les rabats externes (3) comportent une partie (5) articulée sur eux par un refoulage et repliée contre la face de ces rabats tournée vers l'intérieur du conditionnement, tandis que des languettes (7) font saillie à partir des parois (2) auxquelles sont attenants les rabats internes (4) en une position telle qu'en position rabattue des rabats externes (3), elles puissent être engagées entre ces rabats (3) et la partie (5) de ceux-ci repliée contre eux, afin de les verrouiller en position.
    2. Conditionnement selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que la partie (5) des rabats externes (3) repliée contre la face de ces rabats tournée vers l'intérieur de l'emballage est solidaire de cette face, notamment par collage.
    3. Conditionnement selon l'une des revendications 1 et 2, caractérisé en ce que les languettes (7) faisant saillie à partir de chacune des parois (2) auxquelles sont attenants les rabats internes (4) font partie d'une même et unique patte (6) découpée dans la paroi (2) et le rabat (4) associés et sont articulées sur cette patte (6) par un refoulage.
