- Such power supply units have the drawback of a lack of reliability at high speed, in particular due to the disentangling operation which is very delicate. Also, for proper operation of the blowing installation, it is proposed here to supply the installation with two supply units which work in parallel. Each supply unit thus only has to maintain half the speed of the blowing installation. However, it then becomes necessary to provide a conveyor system which groups together the preforms supplied by the two supply lines so that, at the level of the supplier, everything takes place as if the installation were fitted with only one power supply unit.
