Description

The present invention relates to a packaging device for the presentation of objects, especially plants, floral arrangements or flowers cut in a bouquet or individually.

Plant packaging devices may have several forms.

Document US 5,106,662 shows a device presenting itself in the form of a blank of cardboard material in which an opening triangular is provided.

The blank of cardboard material is provided with grooves, according to which the blank can be folded to form a container, in which a predetermined number of plants or flowers can be introduced.

The window allows you to see the flowering part of the plants or flowers.

This device, which has the advantage of highlighting the part flowering plant, has many disadvantages.

On the one hand, this device can only accommodate a number predetermined of plants. A florist would therefore be obliged to store devices of this type of several dimensions, for packaging flower arrangements of different sizes, which is a drawback major for a device which is, moreover, expensive because of its relative complexity.

On the other hand, this device allows only a restricted vision of the flowering part of the flower arrangement.

Finally, florists have a habit of packaging floral compositions they make, using a film of material synthetic.

An object of the invention is to propose a packaging device of objects, in particular plants or floral arrangements of one or more cut flowers, comprising a film of synthetic material, which allows the development of a significant part of these.

According to the invention, the packaging film has, in the direction of its length:
  • a main opaque strip extending over the entire length of the film and over a width varying between one third and two thirds of the width of the film from one of the longitudinal edges of the film,
  • a secondary opaque strip extending over the entire length of the film and over a width varying between zero and at most one third of the width of the film from the other longitudinal edge of the film,
  • a transparent strip extending over the entire length of the film, between the main opaque strip and the secondary opaque strip.

According to a particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention:
  • the main opaque strip extending over the entire length of the film and over more than half the width of the film from one of the longitudinal edges of the film,
  • the secondary opaque strip extending over the entire length of the film and over a maximum of a quarter of the width of the film from the other longitudinal edge of the film,
  • the transparent strip extending over the entire length of the film, between the main opaque strip and the secondary opaque strip.

This film makes it possible to package a composition floral or plant, the flowering part of which is visible thanks to the strip transparent and is therefore valued, while the peduncle part, which is aesthetically less pleasing to the eye, is masked by the opaque band main.

The secondary opaque strip can allow, to realize the filling of the upper part of the packaging of the floral part.

According to a preferred characteristic of the invention, the strip main opaque and the secondary opaque strip are produced by impression.

According to another characteristic, the transparent strip is obtained by demetallization of a film previously metallized on the whole of its surface.

Advantageously, the use of the device comprises the steps consisting in:
  • unroll a portion of the packaging device of a length corresponding, at least, to the circumference of a floral composition,
  • cut said portion,
  • place the floral composition on this portion, the flowering part being opposite the transparent band and the peduncle part being opposite the main opaque band,
  • close the film portion around itself, around the floral arrangement.

This use of the film makes it possible to produce a packaging showcasing a plant, floral arrangement or bouquets of flowers cut, without, however, the florist modifying the methods of work to which he is accustomed, namely the packaging of compositions flowers or plants with a plastic film.

In addition, the unwinding and cutting of a portion more or shorter film depending on the size of the bouquet, avoids disadvantages of the devices of the prior art. These are, in fact, adapted to a particular size of plant or floral composition and require, therefore, florists to manage stocks of devices of different sizes or to only offer this type of devices for a unique type of flower arrangements.

  • For a good understanding, the invention is described below with reference to the attached drawing in which:
  • FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the packaging device according to the invention,
  • Figures 2 and 3 are views showing the device in use.
As can be seen in Figure 1, the device comprises a film 1, which can be a polypropylene film with a thickness of 30 to 40 μm. The film 1 has a main opaque strip in the direction of its length 2 and a secondary opaque strip 3 obtained by printing, framing a transparent strip 4.

The main opaque strip 2 extends over the entire length of the film, and over substantially two thirds of the width of the film from one of its longitudinal edges 5.

La bande opaque secondaire 3 s'étend sur toute la longueur du film, et sur sensiblement un quart de la largeur du film depuis l'autre bord longitudinal 6.The secondary opaque strip 3 extends over the entire length of the film, and over substantially a quarter of the width of the film from the other edge longitudinal 6.

Each of the opaque bands 2,3 is obtained by printing.

The implementation of the packaging device is carried out from the next way.

After making a flower arrangement 7, a florist unrolls a portion of the packaging device of length corresponding to the minus the circumference of said flower arrangement 7, then cut this portion.

The florist then deposits the floral composition 7 on the portion of the packaging device, ensuring that the flowering part 8 of the composition 7 is opposite the transparent strip 4 and that the part peduncle 9 is opposite the main opaque strip 2.

The florist then proceeds to close on itself the portion of film, around the floral arrangement 5 using staples or / and ribbons.

As shown in Figure 3, the flower arrangement, as well conditioned, reveals its flowering part 8 across the strip transparent 4, while its peduncle part 9 is masked by the main opaque strip 3.

The invention thus provides a device for packaging plants or flower arrangement to remedy the drawbacks of prior art devices.

It goes without saying that the invention is not limited to the form of embodiment described above, by way of example, but that it embraces otherwise all variants. So the transparent strip, to view part of the conditioned object, could be translucent or slightly tinted; opaque bands or the band transparent could present fancy prints; subject packaged could be a perfume bottle or bottle or whatever object to be offered; the device could be implemented in such a way so that the transparent strip takes the form of a helix around the conditioned object.
