Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for emptying a container in or on the housing of a vacuum cleaner, which receives at least some of the dirt separated from the suction air of the vacuum cleaner, the container being coupled tightly to a filling opening of a receiving space prior to an emptying process, and the Dirt accumulated in the container is then emptied into the receiving space.
- vacuum cleaners in which at least some of the dirt that is sucked up is deposited in a container that is detachably connected to the vacuum cleaner.
- a vacuum cleaner is known from DE-C-1 009 365.
- its dust collector is provided with a removable drawer. By tilting the vacuum cleaner, the dirt collected in the dust collector can be conveyed into the drawer. For further disposal, the drawer is pulled out of the dust collector and must then be emptied in a suitable place. No information is given in the patent specification about this further emptying process. However, it is easy to imagine that simply tipping the drawer, e.g. in a trash can, a not insignificant cloud of dust is created.
- the invention is based on the object of specifying a method and a device for dust-free emptying of a container coupled to a vacuum cleaner and receiving at least part of the dirt separated from the suction air of the vacuum cleaner.
- This aim is achieved according to claim 1 by a method for emptying a container arranged in or on the housing of a vacuum cleaner, which contains at least part of the dirt separated from the suction air of the vacuum cleaner receives, the container before the emptying process with an emptying opening tightly coupled to a filling opening of a disposal container having a receiving space and the dirt accumulated in the container is then emptied into the disposal container.
- the receiving space is preferably a closed container.
- the receiving space has, next to the filling opening, an opening that can only be opened for the emptying process.
- the receiving space is part of a stationary dust disposal system, which is preferably designed as a fixed channel system for discharging the dust into a central collecting container.
- this object is achieved by a container which is arranged in or on the housing of a vacuum cleaner and which absorbs at least part of the dirt separated from the suction air of the vacuum cleaner and which has an emptying opening with which it is tight for the discharge of the dirt picked up can be coupled to a filling opening of a receiving space.
- the container of the vacuum cleaner housing prefferably closed by means of a closure arranged at the emptying opening or by means of a cover part provided with an emptying opening. If the container can be removed from the vacuum cleaner, this will prevent dirt from escaping from the container when such a container needs to be transported to a suitable disposal container on the transport route.
- the container can also be emptied into the disposal container without a release of dust if the cover part is coupled tightly to the filling opening of the disposal container by means of a pipe socket provided as an emptying opening.
- this object is achieved by a vacuum cleaner with a dirt collecting space integrated in or on the vacuum cleaner housing, which absorbs at least a part of the dirt separated from the suction air and which has an emptying opening with which it is close to a filling opening for dispensing the dust picked up Recording space can be coupled.
- the blow-out air of the vacuum cleaner can advantageously be used as blow air.
- a further hygienically perfect dirt disposal is also achieved by a method for emptying a receiving space provided in a vacuum cleaner and at least part of the dirt separated from the suction air of the vacuum cleaner, in which method a binding agent is added to the dirt accumulated in the receiving space and after completion the solidification process, the dirt is removed as a compact unit from the receiving space.
- a binding agent is added to the dirt accumulated in the receiving space and after completion the solidification process, the dirt is removed as a compact unit from the receiving space.
- the dirt to be disposed of is always shielded from the container or from the dirt collecting space into the disposal container to the outside environment, so that no dust or dirt particles can get into the environment.
- Plastic or bag-shaped containers can be used as disposal containers, for example, which can be connected tightly to their emptying opening during the emptying process of the container containing the dirt or of the dirt collecting space.
- Such plastic containers can be connected in a particularly simple manner to an emptying opening designed as a pipe socket. In the simplest case the plastic container can even be put onto the pipe socket by the person performing the emptying process and then pressed onto it with one hand or with both hands. However, there is also the possibility of pressing on with the aid of technical means, for example clips.
- a stable container serves as the disposal container, this can be provided with a filling opening surrounded by sealing means, to which the emptying opening of the container or the dirt collecting space is coupled.
- the pipe socket is inserted into the filling opening of the disposal container, the sealing means of the filling opening being placed on the outer circumference of the pipe socket and thus preventing dirt particles from escaping during the emptying process.
- a compact, no longer dusty disposal unit By adding a binder to the dirt accumulated in a corresponding receiving space, a compact, no longer dusty disposal unit can be formed in the receiving space, which is closed off from the outside environment. Such a compact pack of dirt can then be placed in a disposal container, e.g. a trash can to be tipped over. If such a dirt-binder mixture is also subjected to a compaction process, e.g. by pressing together by means of pistons or slides or by carrying out a rolling process, the volume of the part to be disposed of can be significantly reduced.
- a dust collection system is created.
- Figures 1 to 6 each show a container arranged on or in a vacuum cleaner for receiving dirt, partly in connection with a receiving space for receiving the dirt from the vacuum cleaner.
- a vacuum cleaner has a receptacle 1, to which suction air charged with dirt or dust 3 is supplied via a feed 2.
- the container 1 is separated from a blower chamber 5 by a filter 4, which is designed in particular as a fine dust filter. The supplied air is extracted through the filter 4.
- the container 1 is arranged either on or in the vacuum cleaner.
- the vacuum cleaner is preferably a non-stationary, mobile vacuum cleaner.
- the dirt that has accumulated in the container 1 by vacuuming can be conveyed into this by coupling the container 1 to a receptacle 6 located outside the vacuum cleaner and equipped with a fixed wall 26.
- the motor of the vacuum cleaner rotates in the opposite direction to the suction direction, provided that the motor has an axial impeller instead of the usual radial impeller has or that mechanical deflection means for the blow-out air of the blower are present, by means of which the blow-out air is pressed into the container 1 instead of suction air, so that the dust 3 is pressed out of the container 1.
- the prerequisite for this is that the feed 2 is closed with respect to the container 1 by a closing means, for example a locking latch 7, and that a connection to the receiving space 6 that is continuous for the dust 3 is created.
- This can be connected via a positive and / or non-positive coupling 8 to an emptying opening 27 of the container 1.
- the coupling 8 comprises a connection piece 9 on the reservoir side, which can be joined in a form-fitting and airtight manner with a flange 10 on the receiving space side.
- the coupling 8 includes conical connections of the container 1 on the one hand and the receiving space 6 on the other hand.
- the coupling 8 can also be made by magnetically or electrically attracting connectors be configured on the side of the container 1 or the receiving space 6. Rubber lips are preferably arranged as sealing elements at these connections.
- the container 1 has a closure formed by a displaceable or pivotable bolt 11.
- the receiving space 6 also has a closure 12, for example also a bolt for closing its filling opening 28.
- a region 13 between the bolt 11 and the closure 12 thus forms a lock after the receiving space 6 has been connected to the container 1 has been coupled. Only after pulling out or pivoting out the bolt 11 and the closure 12 is there a continuous connection between the container 1 and the receiving space 6, so that the dirt 3 either due to its weight or by being pushed out of the container 1 or by being sucked into the receiving space 6 is directed.
- the area 13 ensures a hermetic seal even during coupling and when the receiving space 6 is separated. Dirt 3 is prevented from escaping from the filling opening 28.
- a fine filter 14 (see FIG. 4) is present in the receiving space, through which the air exits again.
- an intake device is alternatively arranged in or on the receiving space 6, which conveys the air out of the receiving space 6 through a fine filter, so that the dirt 3 collects therein.
- FIG. 2 there is a means for compressing the dust 3 collected in the container 1.
- This means is comprised of a plate 15 through which the dust 3 can be compressed against a wall 16 or preferably against the bolt 11, if this is closed.
- the means comprises, for example, a piston rod 17, which can preferably be pushed into the container 1 by a motor from the blower chamber 5, so that the dust 3 is compressed.
- the piston rod 17 is passed through the filter 14.
- the dust 3 is preferably pressed together until briquettes 18 have formed from the dust 3, which after opening the bolt 11 and the closure 12 into the receiving space 6 be transported into it.
- the formation of the briquettes is supported by the addition of a binder which is introduced into the container 1 via a feed line from a storage and metering vessel 20, in particular in the area in which the briquettes 18 are to be formed.
- the receiving space 6 is formed in a bag 21, which is suitable for receiving loose or compressed dust 3 or the briquettes 18.
- the bag 21 either has the connecting piece 12, or it has an elastic opening 22 which lies airtight on the connecting piece 9 of the container 1.
- a receiving means designed as a whole for example in the form of a shrink tube, is provided, which takes on its final shape only when the dust 3 is pressed in, comparable to the production of a sausage by pressing meat mass into the initially folded recording medium.
- the latter is closed, for example by shrinking and / or rotating its opening area 22 several times to form a closure 23 (FIG. 5).
- the container 1 is shaped as a cylindrical space, so that a plate 24 takes up its entire cross section, as a result of which the dust 3 can be compressed particularly effectively.
- the plate 24 is also designed as a fine filter, so that the air is sucked through it during vacuuming.
- the bolt 11 also has the cross section of the plate 24.
- the closure 12 is also designed accordingly.
- the piston rod 17 is moved either hydraulically, pneumatically, electromagnetically or mechanically, for example by means of a spindle drive.
- a compressor screw can also be used, as is known from DE 37 17 333 A1, in particular from FIG. 4. In this regard, reference is made to the disclosure of DE 37 17 333 A1.
