Definitions

  • the invention relates to a hose arrangement for a vacuum cleaner.
  • EP-B-O 388 676 discloses a hand-held vacuum cleaner, in particular a brush cleaner, in which the suction air is guided from a suction nozzle arranged in the floor area via a hand suction hose as a riser pipe into an upper area of the vacuum cleaner housing.
  • the hand suction hose is detachably arranged in the area facing the suction nozzle, so that it can be removed for secondary suction work.
  • the hand suction hose is also coupled to a hand suction pipe that serves as an extension. This hand-held suction pipe is detachably attached to the housing of the hand-held vacuum cleaner and can be removed for secondary suction work.
  • the hand suction hose is telescopically inserted into the hand suction tube, which thus forms a magazine-like receptacle for the hand suction hose, so that it is not a hindrance in itself for long hand suction hose when performing suction work in the bottom suction operation.
  • a suction hose is usually connected at one end to the suction opening of the vacuum cleaner housing and at the other end to a suction pipe.
  • the suction pipe thus serves to guide a suction nozzle attached to it and to connect the suction nozzle to the suction hose in terms of flow. Due to the suction hose and the suction pipe coupled to it, there is a relatively large radius of action during suction work. However, problems arise when stowing the vacuum cleaner at a storage location, since the long hose is often very cumbersome.
  • the invention has for its object to provide a hose assembly for a vacuum cleaner, in particular canister vacuum cleaner, which allows a neat and space-saving storage of the vacuum cleaner.
  • a hose arrangement which has a suction hose which automatically changes its length and which is of self-extending design in at least one partial area, in which arrangement a support part is also provided, which is used to guide a flow hose which is coupled to it and connected to the suction hose in terms of flow Serves suction mouthpiece and on which the suction hose is guided supported at least over part of its length, the suction hose can be blocked in its shortened position on the support part by means of a holding element.
  • the shortening process of the suction hose can be carried out with the help of the vacuum generated by the vacuum cleaner by providing a closure member that blocks the air supply in the region of the hose end that is connected to the suction mouthpiece.
  • the suction hose can be kept in a simple manner in a shortened length that is favorable for the storage division of the vacuum cleaner.

  • the suction hose can through the Vacuum first, be contracted in the area of the full length of the support part. Then the telescopic support part can be pushed together with the suction hose accordingly.
  • Contamination of the outside of the part of the suction hose running in the suction pipe is avoided if the suction hose is firmly connected to the suction pipe in the region of the end of the suction pipe coupled to the suction mouthpiece. In this case, the dirt-laden suction air is guided along the entire length of the suction hose, so that contamination of the outside of the suction hose is not possible.
  • Contamination of the outside of the part of the suction hose that can be inserted into the suction pipe is avoided by providing a film sleeve that surrounds the suction hose and that can be extended lengthwise when the suction hose is inserted into the suction pipe in the space between the outer circumference of the suction hose and the inner circumference of the suction pipe .

  • On the handle 10 of the suction pipe 5 there is also a locking finger 11 which is displaceable transversely to the longitudinal axis of the suction pipe 5 or suction hose 4. • the suction hose 4 can also be pressed into the suction pipe 5 by hand. Then the locking finger 11 is actuated accordingly, so that it engages in one of the grooves 12 and thus blocks the suction hose 4 in its compressed position.
  • the suction tube 5 as a telescopic tube, as indicated in the drawing, it is possible to first pull the suction hose 4 into the suction tube 5 in its extended position by the vacuum force and to lock it in this position by means of the locking finger 11. A corresponding further shortening of the hose arrangement can then be carried out by pushing the telescopic tube together. After a shortening tongue of the suction hose 4 still outside of the suction pipe 5 remaining length of the suction hose 4 allows space-saving storage of the hose arrangement and vacuum cleaner. As shown in FIG. 2, the suction pipe 5 can be inserted into a corresponding holder provided on the vacuum cleaner housing. The remaining length of the hose then extends above the vacuum cleaner housing between the suction opening 2 and the upper end of the suction pipe 5. No additional space is thus required to the side of the vacuum cleaner for accommodating the suction hose 4.
  • the suction hose 4 can be advantageous to design the suction hose 4 as a self-extending hose in a partial area and as a self-shortening hose in a further partial area.
