Definitions

  • the invention relates to a sports device with a two-lane roller device, in particular a skateboard, with at least one roller board and a chassis with two wheel axles connected to the roller board, which has a trailing arm suspension for each wheel axle, which is pivotally connected to the roller board about at least one transverse axis and at the same
  • the wheel axis is arranged away from the first end of the roller board, with at least one elastic element acting against the deflection direction acting on at least one trailing arm wheel suspension.
  • Sports equipment with two-lane rolling devices such as skateboards or the like, has a horizontal rolling board on which wheel axles are more or less rigidly connected via a steering element. Such rolling devices are therefore particularly suitable on smooth surfaces. Shocks due to very small bumps and very small obstacles are transmitted to the roller board user almost undamped, which affects driving comfort. Even relatively small obstacles and bumps, such as chippings, gravel, road grooves or the like, can make the skateboard's driveability considerably more difficult. In the case of medium to medium-sized obstacles and rough terrain, for example unpaved paths or lanes with damaged surfaces, the roller board is even unusable.
  • US 5 100 161 A discloses a skateboard for use off the road, which has vibration damping elements.
  • a vibration damping element is attached between the roller board and a wheel axle.
  • Each vibration damping element consists of a plurality of elastic plates which are connected to the roller board via guide and connecting bolts.
  • These vibration damping elements also have the disadvantage that the spring travel is extremely limited and thus the driveability of the skateboard is very limited in the case of medium and large obstacles, even if further vibration damping own vibration absorbing wheels are provided, which are attached to conventional skateboard wheels. This is primarily intended to make it easy to convert a conventional skateboard into a vehicle that can be used away from slippery roads.

This allows particularly long spring travel of the decoupled elastic elements to be achieved with great ground clearance.
