Definitions
- the invention relates to a partition system with vertical stands and horizontal connecting pipes, in which panels are attached to the stands by means of connecting elements, and the stands have a connecting surface perpendicular to the wall plane with a series of connecting bores.
- a partition wall system of this type is identified as known in EP-A 0 281 081.
- vertical stands are connected to horizontal hollow connecting rods.
- the connecting rods serve at the same time to hold the panels and have an H-shaped cross section to form lower and upper lips over their entire length, between which the panels are inserted. This gives the wall an image segmented by the connecting rods.
- the panels connected to the stands do not form a closed, flat surface.
- the stands also consist of two profile sections assembled and form vertical parting lines in the visible surfaces, which is further reinforced by the spacing of the panels attached to the uprights, since the panels also protrude from the supports of the uprights on the surfaces of the partition system.
- protruding securing elements on the surfaces of the partition system are required to connect the panels to the uprights.
- Another disadvantage, which greatly affects the visual appearance of the partition system is that the cantilever elements as simple brackets made of round tube sections do not connect to the stands in a system-compatible manner and cannot be used as feet for the stands.
- connection surface provided on the stand is designed as a connecting web and has at least one holding web aligned in the wall plane in that the connecting elements consist of a threaded part inserted into a bore of the connecting web and two from both sides of a stand the threaded part screwed screw sleeves are assembled, the screw sleeves have a diameter that is larger than the diameter of the bores, and are braced on the connecting web of the stand, that projecting cantilever elements are attached to the stands perpendicular to the wall plane, that the screw sleeves in Distance of the thickness of the cantilever elements from the end facing the threaded part have a widened section, and that the panels are fixed between the retaining webs of the stands and the heels of the screw sleeves of connecting elements attached to the stands.
- the panels are covered by the support bars of the stands, so that a closed visible surface is created.
- the connecting elements defined on the connecting bars of the stands are also covered, but they form receptacles for the panels, in which the panels are held, with the holding webs of the stands.
- An absolutely flush visible surface can be achieved with the new partition system in that the panels on the end faces facing the uprights are provided with connecting lugs that are set back from the visible side of the panel by the thickness of the holding webs of the uprights.
- the cantilever elements can also be attached to a stand, the holding webs of the stand inserted into the slots of the cantilever element determining the projecting position of the cantilever element on the stand.
- the cantilever element can be attached at any point on the stand that is identified by a hole in the connecting web. In this way, the cantilever element can be used both as a foot for the stand or as a supporting element for attachments of the partition system.
- a partition system closed on both visible sides is achieved according to a further development in that the stands are designed as sections of a double-T beam in which the connecting web has vertically projecting holding webs on both ends and the clear distance between the holding webs is the sum of the two The diameter of the shoulders of the screw sleeves and twice the thickness of the panels in the connection area corresponds.
- the support bars of the uprights can be flush with the panels on both sides of the partition.
- a jamming of the panels between the shoulders of the screw sleeves and the retaining webs of the stands is achieved in one embodiment simply by the paragraphs of the screw sleeves being provided with grooves for receiving elastic rings.
- connection of the stands to one another is carried out according to one embodiment in that the screw sleeves are provided in the region of the end face with the shoulder with a plug-in receptacle for a connecting tube which can be fixed in the plug-in receptacle by a snug fit and / or press fit.
- the length of the connecting pipes determines the distance between adjacent stands, i.e. the field width of the partition system and thus also the width of the panels.
- connection of the connecting pipes with the screw sleeves of the connecting elements aligned with one another is facilitated in that the plug-in receptacles of the screw sleeves are provided with insertion phases.
- a defined connection position is ensured in that a partition in the screw sleeve separates the plug receptacle from a thread receptacle.
- the partition limits the insertion movement of the connecting pipe.
- one embodiment provides that the width of the holding webs projecting from the connecting web is smaller than the thickness of the cantilever elements and that the depth of the slots in the cantilever elements of the Width of the retaining webs protruding from the connecting web corresponds.
- the configuration of the cantilever element can be designed such that the cantilever element protrudes on one side from the stand, extends over the stand and has two slots for receiving the holding webs of the stand and a bore between the slots.
- This one-sided cantilever element only protrudes on one side of the partition and can be used as a single-sided foot for a stand.
- the configuration is such that the cantilever element protrudes on both sides of the stand and has two slots in the middle area for receiving the holding webs of the stand and a bore between the slots, then the cantilever element projects from the same place on the partition wall on both sides and can be double-sided Foot can be used for a stand.
- the cantilever element protruding on one side can also be designed such that the cantilever element protrudes on one side from the stand, extends over half of the connecting leg of the stand and has a slot for receiving a holding web and half a bore.
- the cantilever elements are perpendicular to the slots on one side, while the opposite side is inclined towards the free end or the free ends of the cantilever element so that the cantilever element tapers, then in use as a cantilever, the side perpendicular to the slots is turned upwards, while when used as a foot it is turned down.
- support elements can be defined which have a semicircular receptacle for the screw sleeve in the area outside of the heel and are supported with a web on the facing holding web of the stand, and that on both sides of the web a downward closure with a support plate is formed for a panel.
- These support elements form stops with the support plates, which determine the position of the lower edge of the panel relative to the uprights. It is recommended that the panels at the facing end areas are provided with connecting lugs that are supported on the support plates.
- the web of the support element is attached in the middle of the thickness of the support element, and on both end faces of the support element towards the same receptacles for panels, which are closed at the bottom by support plates, and that the thickness of the support elements in corresponds approximately to the width of the retaining webs protruding from the connecting web of the stand and approximately to the length of the screw sleeves in the area outside the shoulder, then a uniform support element can be used for both visible sides of the partition.
- the support element is only used in two positions rotated by 180 ° and two support elements can be fixed to the stand with the same screw sleeve of the connecting element.
- the partition panels can be set up in any angular positions with respect to one another by directly adjacent stands of two partition panels can be connected to one another at any angle by means of hinge parts of a hinge, the hinge parts ending in plug-in projections which can be inserted into and fixed in the plug-in receptacles of screw sleeves by connecting elements fixed on the two stands, and are articulatedly connected to one another.
- the connecting elements are used again to fasten the hinge to the uprights.
- the hinge of the partition panels can also be designed in such a way that adjacent stands can be connected to one another by means of coupling elements which run out at both ends in plug-in lugs which can be inserted into and fixed in the plug-in receptacles of screw sleeves by connecting elements fixed on the two stands, and that the two plug approaches of a coupling element are connected to one another by means of an elastic, deflectable intermediate piece.
- the plug-in lugs and the elastic intermediate section can also be made in one piece and have a through hole which allows the passage of electrical cables or the like.
- the last partition wall field of a partition wall can be optically neatly terminated in that when using sections of a double-T support a free side of the stand can be covered by means of a cover section which is U-shaped in cross section.
- sections of a double-T beam are used as the stand 10.
- the stand 10 can also be made from an L-shaped or only T-shaped profile. It is only important that the stand 10 has a connecting web 15, which is perpendicular to the visible sides of the partition, with a row of bores 16 made in uniform division and at least one holding web 11 or 12, which is perpendicular thereto.
- the holding webs 11 and 12 protrude vertically from the two ends of the connecting web 15 with the same width on both sides of the connecting web 15.
- the two uprights 10 of a partition panel are connected to one another by means of two connecting tubes 17, specifically by means of connecting elements 30, which are fixed in a bore 16 in the uprights 10, as will be shown.
- receptacles 14 are formed which receive the connecting elements 30 and are also used to fix the panels, as will be shown.
- one-sided cantilever elements 20 or two-sided cantilever elements 25 can also be attached to the stands 10.
- the two-sided cantilever element 25 can be fixed together with the lower connecting tube 17.
- a connecting element 30 consists of a threaded part 31, which can also be designed as a threaded sleeve, and two screw sleeves 32.
- the screw sleeves 32 can be screwed onto the threaded part 31 with their internal threads 33, the partition wall 34 for the plug-in receptacle 35 limits the unscrewing movement.
- the diameter of the threaded part 31 is adapted to the diameter of the bores 16 in the connecting web 15 of the stand 10.
- the screw sleeves 32 can therefore be clamped to the connecting web 15 with the end faces facing the stand 10 with the internal threads 33 if they are screwed onto the threaded part 31 inserted into the bore 16 from both sides.
- the plug receptacles 35 of the screw sleeves 32 are provided with insertion phases 38, which facilitate the insertion of the connecting tube 17.
- the connecting tube 17 is held with a snug fit and / or an interference fit in the plug receptacle 35 of the screw sleeve 32.
- the outer diameter of the screw sleeves 32 is adapted to the bore 23 and 28 of the cantilever elements 20 and 25, so that the screw sleeve 32 can be inserted into the bore 23 or 28 of a cantilever element 20 or 25 as far as the stop on the extended shoulder 36.
- the length of the screw sleeve 32 outside the shoulder 36 is matched to the thickness of the cantilever elements 20 and 25, so that the cantilever element 20 or 25 can be firmly connected to the stand 10.
- the cantilever element 20 or 25 has vertical slots 22 or 27 which receive the holding webs 11 and 12 of the stand 10.
- the screw sleeve 32 is supported on the connecting web 15 of the stand 10 and the shoulder 36 of the screw sleeve 32 is supported on the side of the cantilever element 20 or 25 facing away from the stand 10.
- the shoulder 36 of the screw sleeves 32 is provided with grooves which receive elastic rings 37.
- the cantilever element 20 on one side protrudes from the stand 10 on one side, the upper one Side 21 runs horizontally, while the lower side is inclined so that the cantilever element 20 tapers towards the free end. If the cantilever element 20 is rotated by 180 ° so that the side 21 is at the bottom, then it can also be used as a one-sided foot element.
- the double-sided cantilever element 25 is designed similarly, but extends to both sides of the partition. The horizontal side 25 is directed downwards when used as a foot element and upwards when used as a cantilever.
- support elements 56 are attached to the uprights 10 with connecting elements 30.
- These support elements 56 have a semicircular receptacle 53, with which they half enclose the screw sleeves 32 outside of this shoulder 36 and are supported with a web 52 on the inside of the facing holding web 11 or 12.
- receptacles are formed which receive the partial panels 40 and support them with the support plates 51.
- the support plates 51 close off the receptacles for the partial panels 40 arranged on both sides of the web 52.
- the partial panels 40 are inserted up to the web 52 and held between the holding webs 11 and 12 and the elastic rings 37 in the shoulder 36 of the screw sleeve 32.
- the partial panels 40 on the end faces facing the uprights 10 can also only protrude into the receptacle 14 of the upright 10 with connecting lugs 41.
- the connecting lugs 41 are set back by the thickness of the holding webs 11 and 12 relative to the visible side of the partial panels 40, so that the holding webs 11 and 12 of the stand 10 and the visible sides of the partial panels 40 merge into one another.
- the panels 40 can of course also extend over the entire height of the stand 10. As FIG. 12 shows, the partial panels 40 can be connected to one another via T-shaped rails 42.
- the screw sleeves 32 of the connecting elements 30 press the sub-panels 40 against the inside of the holding webs 11 and 12 with the elastic rings 37 in the shoulder 36, so that the connecting lugs 41 are pressed against them.
- the connecting element 30 can be used again to receive the connecting tube 17.
- FIGS. 8 and 9 show the attachment of a foot composed of two cantilever elements 20 on one side to the stand 10.
- the cantilever elements 20 are placed with the sides provided with slots 22 facing each other onto the holding webs 11 and 12 of the stand 10.
- the threaded part 31 is inserted into the lowermost bore 16 of the stand 10 and protrudes from the connecting web 15 on both sides.
- a screw sleeve 32 is inserted from both sides through the bores 23 of the cantilever elements 20 and screwed onto the threaded part 31.
- the shoulders 36 of the screw sleeves 32 cover the bores 23 of the cantilever elements 20 so that they are braced on the stand 10 and are thus fixed.
- the downwardly laid horizontal sides 21 of the cantilever elements 20 are flush with the lower end of the stand 10.
- One screw sleeve 32 receives the lower connecting tube 17 in its plug-in receptacle 35.
- FIGS. 10 and 11 Another embodiment of the cantilever element 20 'is shown in FIGS. 10 and 11.
- the cantilever element 20 ' is sufficient only up to the central axis of the connecting web 15 of the stand 10 and therefore only has a vertical slot 22 which receives the holding web 11 or 12, depending on which side of the stand 10 the cantilever element 20 'protrudes.
- the foot of the stand 10 thus formed consists of only a single cantilever element 20 '.
- the fixing of the cantilever element 20 'on the stand 10 by means of the connecting element 30 does not differ from the fixing of the two cantilever elements 20 according to FIGS. 8 and 9.
- 15 and 16 show how box-shaped furniture 50 can be attached to the partition.
- Brackets 51 are attached to the back of the furniture 50 and protrude as hooks 52 on the back.
- the hook 52 which extends over the width of the furniture 50, the furniture 50 is hung on the upper edge of a partial panel 40.
- the angle 50 is provided on the two end faces with a cutout 53 into which the holding web of the stand 10 is inserted.
- the piece of furniture 50 is thereby supported on the stand 10, so that the partial panel 40 is relieved of the tilting moment of the piece of furniture 50.
- the furniture 50 can also extend over the outside of the holding web.
- FIG. 17 to 19 show how two adjacent partition panels can be set up at any angle to one another. If two partition walls are aligned in one plane in a continuous partition wall, then a single stand 10 is sufficient at the transition of the partition walls. In the case of an angular position of the two partition panels, each partition panel must be closed off with a stand 10 in the joint area. With the help of two each Connecting elements 30, hinges 30 can take over the coupling of the two partition panels.
- 19 shows an embodiment of a hinge 60, which consists of two hinge parts 61. The hinge parts 61 end in hinge tabs 62, which are articulated to one another by means of the hinge pin 64.
- the hinge parts 61 are themselves designed as plug-in elements which can be inserted into the plug-in receptacle 35 of the screw sleeves 32 and can be fixed therein, as the section according to FIG. 18 clearly shows.
- the hinges 60 are to be connected to the connecting elements 30 in such a way that the hinge pins 64 are aligned vertically.
- the partition panels can then be set up in any angular position to one another, as shown in FIGS. 17 and 18.
- the connecting elements 30, which also accommodate the connecting pipes 17, can also be used.
- the hinges can also be designed differently. It is only important that the hinge parts run out in plug pins and can be coupled to the connecting elements 30.
- the plug pins can also be connected in one piece with an elastic intermediate section, such as a film hinge or the like.
- the stands 10 arranged at the ends of the partition can be covered with a U-shaped cover part, so that the connecting elements can no longer be seen at these points.
- connection bores in the stands can also be designed as connection receptacles that are polygonal in cross section, and the threaded part of the connecting element can be formed in one piece with one of the two screw sleeves.
- the bore of the cantilever element facing the shoulder of the screw sleeve has an enlarged section which receives at least a part of the shoulder of the screw sleeve.
