Abstract
Description
Die Erfindung betrifft eine ventilierte Filtercigarette gemäß Oberbegriff der Patentansprüche 1 bis 6.The invention relates to a ventilated filter cigarette according to The preamble of claims 1 to 6.
From DE-OS 36 35 958 is a ventilated filter cigarette known a triple filter, in which the tobacco rod subsequent first core component is a corrugated in the longitudinal direction Plastic film, for example made of polyethylene. Thereby longitudinal channels are formed which are essentially in the radial direction are impermeable to air, with which there is a high pressure drop can be achieved with low tar retention at the same time. A second core component is connected to the first core component on, possibly with the interposition of a medium, Ventilation holes for introducing additional air Chamber. The second core component is accordingly in a mouth-side Chamber arranged and also causes proportionately low tar retention low pressure drop.
A disadvantage of the known cigarette is that strand-side core component is not environmentally friendly as it consists of a plastic film such as polyethylene. Another The disadvantage is that the dimensionally accurate manufacture of this Core component is technically complex.
From FR-A-2.104.312 an unventilated cigarette with a three-chamber filter is known, in which the first and third chambers are completely filled with filter material, while the intermediate second or middle chamber contains activated carbon particles.
DE-B-26 36 316 discloses a similar three-chamber filter . However, the mouthpiece paper is provided with perforations in the area of the middle chamber, so that a ventilated filter cigarette results.
From DE-A-28 49 904 a mono-coaxial filter is known, which in some embodiments is also provided with holes for introducing additional air, so that a ventilated filter cigarette also results. Essentially, a core of cellulose acetate fibers is surrounded by a jacket made of closed-cell foam which is impermeable to the main electricity smoke, so that the main current smoke has to flow through a certain area.
Schließlich offenbart die BE-A-628 867 einen Mono-Koaxialfilter, bei dem in einer Ausführungsform ein für den Hauptstromrauch durchlässiger Kern von einem die Stömung behindernden Mantel umgeben ist (siehe Figur 8).Finally, BE-A-628 867 discloses a mono-coaxial filter in which, in one embodiment, a core which is permeable to the mainstream smoke is surrounded by a jacket which obstructs the flow (see FIG. 8).
The object of the invention is to further develop the known filter cigarette, which has the taste of a so-called "strong" cigarette, in such a way that all filter cores can be produced from environmentally friendly material with simple, dimensionally stable manufacture.
To solve this problem, the characterizing features of claims 1 to 6 serve in conjunction with the features of their respective preamble.
This allows the diameter of that relevant for tar retention Filter core are reduced in such a way that in higher flow rates of the main stream smoke in this area result, with the consequence that the retention mechanisms the diffusion effect and the blocking effect decrease, while those of the inertia effect increase so that overall achieved a lower retention than with a conventional filter becomes. This can be done either through a filter core made of cellulose acetate fibers or reach through cannulas or channels that are formed from cellulose acetate film. Is cellulose acetate rotten and therefore environmentally friendly. The cellulose acetate core surrounding airtight coat can also be made Cellulose acetate fibers are formed, which are essential more compacted and thus both in the longitudinal direction and are virtually impermeable to air in the radial direction. Because cannulas or condensed into this airtight sheath Cellulose acetate fibers molded in without additional shells or can be pierced is the filter material for the Entire strand-side core component is still environmentally friendly.
The cannulas or channels are arranged in the center of the first chamber, or in another embodiment they can be on the mouth side on the circumference of the largely airtight, compressed Cellulose acetate fibers lie. The circumference in the mouth Partially arranged, preferably stamped channels can also be open to the outside, being covered by filter paper be covered to the outside. The outside In addition, channels can run in a straight line or helically. Zigzag patterns are also conceivable. In a preferred one Embodiment is that between the two core components lying middle chamber filled with activated carbon and with ventilation holes Mistake. The filling level of the middle chamber depends on the manufacturing possibilities. As a rule, the middle chamber only with a volume that is 60 to 80% full Fill the amount of activated carbon. The ventilation holes are produced in the usual way, for example through laser perforation, through mechanical perforation with Spiked rollers, electromechanically by spark discharge or by using natural porous covering paper.
From EP-PS 0 321 740 is a ventilated coaxial filter cigarette known with only one filter element, in which the Coat and the core of the coaxial filter the two through it flowing different smoke streams to different Filter well, but in any case strongly.
So far it was not technically feasible to use the main electricity smoke To be fed directly into the carbon particles of an activated carbon filter.
The main current smoke of the cigarette according to the invention, however in its preferred embodiment due to construction and directed through the sorbent granulate particles of the chamber filter, which enables optimal gas phase sorption.
Has this disadvantage one tries to restrict, by coating the Carbon particles according to DE-PS 2 527 569 or by using Diaphragms made of vapor permeable material, e.g. according to DE-OS 2 355 493.
By one in the parallel patent application DE-OS 41 05 500 combination of (a) aromatization of the Strands of tobacco with a mixture of flavors from two specific Groups and (b) use of a specific adsorbent and (c) allowing certain ventilation and (d) Combination of two filter elements can be achieved, for example a gas phase quantity that a modern cigarette in the "ultra-light" range, of less than 2 mg condensate / cigarette, while the particle phase quantity of this cigarette is in the "light" range lying down with about 5 to 6 mg of condensate / cigarette and, overall, a good taste without "side or Charcoal taste "occurs. On this effect - drastic Reduction of the "secondary or coal taste" - is in the this application expressly referred.
Advantageous embodiments of the invention result from the Subclaims.

In the various exemplary embodiments, they are always the same Provide parts with the same reference numerals.
FIG. 1 shows a first exemplary embodiment in which the
strömende Hauptstromrauch zwangsweise in jeder Cigarettenposition
The compression of the cellulose acetate fibers of the
To the above-mentioned undesirable taste impairments to eliminate certain flavorings in both applied the tobacco mixture as well as on the filter material will. Details on this are in the parallel German Patent application P 41 05 500.4 described, hereby expressly Reference is made.
The auxiliary air entering the
Linie A-A. Der Schnitt A-A entspricht außerdem dem Schnitt A'-A'
Figure 2 shows a section through the
FIG. 3 shows a further exemplary embodiment in which the core component in the mouth-
strömt ringförmig nach außen in Richtung der Pfeile P. Figure 4 shows a section BB through the core component of the mouth-
FIG. 5 shows a second embodiment of the core component on the strand side, in which a
darin befindliche Aktivkohle prallt. Ein anderer Weg ist für den
Hauptstromrauch versperrt, da der Körper 14' aus verdichteten
Celluloseacetatfasern nahezu luftundurchlässig ist. Dies ergibt
einen hinreichend hohen Druckabfall bei gleichzeitig geringer
Teer-Retention. FIG. 6 shows a section along the line CC in FIG. 5 through the strand-
The mouth-
umgeben. FIG. 7 shows a further exemplary embodiment in which the core component of the strand-
Man
Figure 8 shows a section along the line DD through the mouth-
gleichzeitig geringer Teer-Retention. FIG. 9 shows another exemplary embodiment in which the core component of the strand-
FIG. 10 shows a further exemplary embodiment with a
Man
FIG. 11 shows a section along the line EE through the mouth-
It is pointed out that the expert knows the filter components
