Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for installing and removing sinks for metallurgical vessels according to the top handle of claim 1 and analogously to EP 0364723 A1.
- DE-A1- 33 30 105 describes a device which is only suitable for removing sink blocks and which consists of a frame which is fastened to the bottom of the vessel. A spindle is mounted in the frame, via which the force required for pulling out can be applied.
- the disadvantage here is that it is difficult to eject the used sink because of the very limited space.
- devices for setting and pulling out sink stones consist of a lever which is hinged at one end to the bottom of the vessel.
- the sink is articulated approximately in the middle of the lever arm.
- Such devices are permanently attached to the bottom of the vessel, since they also serve as a closure for holding the sink during operation.
- a separate device is therefore required for each installation site of a sink.
- Another disadvantage of such devices is that hot gases can flow out of the vessel, which, when they are brushed over a freshly coated mortar layer, cause undesirable uneven and rapid drying.
- the perforated brick is very difficult to access for any cleaning work.
- the object of the invention is to avoid these disadvantages and to provide a device which allows both the pulling out and the setting of sink blocks, on the one hand the sink to be installed can be brought into a position in which the application of a layer of mortar is easily possible and on the other hand, an exactly axial movement can be achieved during insertion.
- a position should be provided in which the extracted sink can be easily ejected.
- the device is characterized by the features of claim 1.
- the metallurgical vessel is usually brought into the lying position, in which the bottom of the vessel is vertical and thus the axis of the sink is horizontal.
- the guide ensures an exact axial movement of the sink, so that stripping of the mortar is prevented and a uniform joint is achieved.
- Another advantage is that the mortar can be easily freed of mortar residues after pulling out the sink.
- the device will be attached to the vessel in such a way that the axis of one joint is essentially vertical, so that the pivoting can take place without substantial effort, since gravity does not have to be overcome.
- the second joint with a substantially horizontal axis serves to pivot the sink completely out of the area of the opening and to be able to bring it into a position with a vertical axis in which work on the sink is easily possible.
- the layer of mortar required for a precise fit can be easily applied to the vertical sink in this way.
- the guide contains a rail on which a carriage is slidably arranged. This enables the sink to be moved easily and quickly.
- a particularly favorable design is given if a first joint allows the guide to be pivoted relative to the vessel and a second joint allows the sink to pivot relative to the slide.
- the second joint can rotatably hold a head on the slide, which can be fixed by means of a locking device.
- the setting and pulling out of the sink is made easier if a guide tube for manipulating the sink is axially displaceable in the head.
- a tool for connection to the sink can be attached to the guide tube. This tool can be designed differently for setting the sink than for pulling out.
- the device can have a receptacle for a jackhammer.
- This jackhammer can be placed on the outer end of the guide tube. This means that the joint can be realized exactly according to the target value, whereby the work can be carried out by a single man.
- Support plungers for pulling out the sink are preferably provided, which are arranged regularly around the axis of the sink. Hydraulic plungers can also be provided for pulling out the sink. This enables the sink to be pulled out easily and safely.
- two support punches are provided, the axes of which lie in a plane which contains the axis of the sink, and which are supported on the head.
- the support plungers used for the pull-out process can be designed as hydraulic plungers which act counter to the pull-out direction. This simplifies the construction and the handling of the device.
- the device Since it is not necessary for the device to remain permanently on the vessel, it can be provided that it has a coupling piece so that it can be removably attached to the vessel.
- a plate attached to the bottom of the vessel or the flange of the sink is used to hold the sink in place during operation, which plate can be provided with a refractory backfill.
- FIG. 1 to 8 show a first embodiment, namely FIG. 1 a view of the device according to the invention from above when the sink is pulled out, FIG. 2 a side view when the sink is pulled out, FIG. 3 a view of the device according to the invention from above when setting of the sink, Fig. 4 5 shows a view corresponding to FIG. 1 when the sink is pulled out, FIG. 6 shows such a view on a reduced scale when the sink is pivoted, FIG. 7 shows a front view on a reduced scale in the position for throwing off the sink and FIG 8 is a front view, on a reduced scale, in the position for fitting a new sink.
- 9 and 10 show a further embodiment variant of the device according to the invention, specifically in FIG. 9 in a view from above and in FIG. 10 in a side view.
- FIG. 1 and 2 show the position of the device according to the invention while the sink 17 is being pulled out of the perforated brick 18.
- the pan base 1 is brought into a vertical position by pivoting the vessel, so that the axis 17a of the sink 17 lies horizontally.
- a sink flange 2 is provided on the pan base 1 in a known manner.
- a bracket 3 for the device 4 according to the invention is welded onto this.
- the coupling piece 5 of the device 4 is detachably fastened to this holder 3.
- a guide 7 is articulated about the axis 6a of the first joint 6 and contains a rail arranged behind a cover 8.
- the axis 6a is essentially vertical, so that the gravity does not have to be overcome when pivoting the guide 7 about this axis 6a.
- a slide 9 is slidably provided on this rail.
- a head 12 is fastened on the slide 9 so that it can rotate about the axis 11a of the second joint 11.
- the second joint 11 is designed as a bolt which is fixedly connected to the carriage 9 and which engages in a corresponding bore in the head 12.
- the axis 11a of the second joint 11 is perpendicular to the axis 6a of the first joint 6.
- a disk 10a is also rotatably mounted, which has a plurality of bores in the region of its circumference, into which a locking device 10 can engage.
- the disc 10a is connected to the head 12 via a fine adjustment 13 designed as a screw spindle.
- the pivoting of the head 12 about the second axis 11a takes place by releasing the locking device 10 and rotating the disc 10a and the head 12 together.
- a further movement is achieved by latching the Locking 10 prevented in a corresponding bore of the disc 10a.
- About the fine adjustment 13 can Head 12 can be rotated slightly relative to the disc 10a, so that a precisely central insertion of the sink 17 is made possible.
- a guide tube 14 is axially slidably mounted in the head 12.
- the pliers 15a for pulling out the sink 17 are coupled via a bayonet lock.
- the pliers 15a can be easily coupled to the gas connection pipe 16 of the sink 17 via a locking mechanism 19.
- Attached to the head 12 are two hydraulic rams 21a and 21b which act on a pressure plate 24 which, during the extraction process, introduces the force into this guide tube 14 via a wedge 25 inserted into the guide tube 14.
- the head 12 is supported on the sink flange 2 via support stamps 20a and 20b.
- the support plunger 20a has been omitted from FIG. 1.
- the hydraulic rams 21a and 21b are connected via a schematically illustrated hydraulic line 22 to a hydraulic pump 23, which in the exemplary embodiment is designed as a hand pump, which is attached to the guide 7.
- a pressure piece 15b is coupled to the guide tube 14 for setting the sink 17.
- the gas connection pipe 16 is inserted directly into the pressure piece 15 b and the guide pipe 14.
- a pneumatic hammer 26 is placed, with which the force required for setting can be applied. The force is applied to the bottom plate of the sink 17 via the pressure piece 15b.
- the head 12 is rotated relative to the carriage 9 about the axis 11a of the second joint 11 by 90 ° so that the axis 17a of the sink 17 is substantially vertical and the sink 17 is directed downwards. In this position, the sink 17 can be easily dropped.
- Fig. 8 the head 12 is rotated relative to the carriage 9 about the axis 11a of the second joint 11 by 90 ° so that the axis 17a of the sink 17 is substantially vertical and the sink 17 is directed upwards.
- a new sink 17 is placed and then the required layer of mortar is applied to this sink 17.
- the sink 17 is relatively far from the opening 28 of the sink flange 2 and is pivoted in particular from the area of the axis 28a along which hot gases can flow out. In this way, unimpaired work on the sink 17 is possible, as well as ensuring that premature curing of the mortar layer is prevented.
- the support rams serving for the pull-out process are designed as hydraulic rams 30a and 30b which act counter to the pull-out direction.
- the hydraulic rams 21a and 21b and the pressure plate 24 are omitted. All the steps for operating the supports are omitted, since the hydraulic rams 30a and 30b are extended by the hydraulic pump 23.
- the stamps are retracted via a return spring in each hydraulic stamp.
- the sink 17 is installed and pulled out with one and the same tool 31, which is a combination of pressure piece 15b and pliers 15a.
- This tool 31 is screwed onto the guide tube 14.
- the frictional connection for the extraction process is made between guide tube 14, inserted wedge 25 and slide 9.
- this embodiment variant presupposes that the two hydraulic rams 30a and 30b run synchronously, because otherwise the device may be distorted.
