Definitions

  • the invention relates to a device for installing and removing sink blocks for metallurgical vessels, in particular for pans, with a guide for the axial displacement of the sink block.

  • Described flushing device suitable device which consists of a frame which is attached to the bottom of the vessel.
  • a spindle is mounted in the frame, via which the force required for pulling out can be applied.
  • the disadvantage here is that it is difficult to eject the used sink because of the very limited space.
  • the object of the invention is to avoid these disadvantages and to provide a device which allows both the pulling out and the setting of sink blocks, on the one hand the sink to be installed can be brought into a position in which the application of a layer of mortar is easily possible and on the other hand, an exactly axial movement can be achieved during insertion.
