Abstract
Composition dentifrice présentée sous forme solide, à usage humain et animal, caractérisée en ce qu'elle comprend: au moins un composant possédant une activité antiséptique et/ou anti-microbienne, au moins un composant exerçant une action abrasive, au moins un composant exerçant une action retard sur le dépôt de tartre, au moins un composant possédant la propriété de s'attaquer à la plaque dentaire, et ayant éventuellement des propriétés anti-microbiennes, et au moins un composé constituant une source de fluor.
Description
COMPOSITIONS DE DENTIFRICE SOLIDE.
La présente invention concerne une nouvelle forme de présentation des compositions à usage d'hygiène buccale et de dentifrice, ainsi qu'une composition, également nouvelle en elle-même, et particulièrement adaptée à ladite forme.
On sait que les compositions à usage de dentifrice sont actuellement présentées le plus souvent sous forme de pâte, de gel ou de poudre. Pour leur utilisation, il est nécessaire d'en prélever une certaine quantité et l'appliquer sur les dents au moyen d'une brosse.
L'usage d'une telle brosse représente une contrainte pour de multiples raisons ; c'est, entre autres, la raison pour laquelle il est difficile d'obtenir des enfants qu'ils se brossent régulièrement les dents. De même, hors de chez soi, il n'est pas possible de se nettoyer les dents après un repas ou avant une visite. Il est également très difficile de parvenir à nettoyer les dents des animaux, notamment des chiens.
Pour éliminer ces limitations, il a été proposé de présenter la composition sous forme d'une solution appliquée sous forme d'aérosol, ce qui évite l'utilisation d'une brosse. Cette nouvelle présentation offre effectivement de très importants avantages. Toutefois son mode d'application impose une teneur très faible en constituants solides, notamment les corps abrasifs indispensables, même sous forme micronisée. Au surplus, la mise en solution implique inévitablement une certaine dilution des ingrédients actifs, ce qui risque d'en diminuer l'efficacité.
L'invention élimine ces inconvénients grâce à une composition dentifrice solide présentée sous forme de comprimés ou de tablettes à croquer.
Une composition particulièrement adaptée à ce mode d'application comprend, selon l'invention :
- au moins un composant possédant une activité antiseptique et/ou anti¬ bactérienne,
- au moins un composant exerçant une action abrasive,
- au moins un composant exerçant une action retard sur le dépôt de tartre,
- au moins un composant possédant la propriété de s'attaquer à la plaque dentaire, et ayant éventuellement des propriétés anti-microbiennes,
- et au moins un composé constituant une source de fluor, subsidiairement un anti-inflammatoire local contre les gingivites, un appétent et/ou arôme, un colorant et/ou un composé pour traiter la mauvaise haleine, le tout étant en solution solide (comprimé ou croquette).
Une telle composition est entièrement originale et possède un ensemble d'actions nouvelles très importantes :
- Par une action de contact sur la plaque dentaire, elle retarde son apparition et sa transformation en plaque dure.
- Son action antiseptique retarde la transformation de la pellicule neutre recouvrant les dents en plaque molle.
- Elle renforce la protection de l'émail dentaire contre les caries en fixant certains de ses constituants directement sur celui-ci.
- Son agent filmogène protège les dents contre les dépôts de tartre et contre l'apparition de tartre dû à des dépôts de nicotine chez les fumeurs. il est à noter que ces "actions sont de longue durée et qu'elles protègent les dents, même sans brossage.
De plus, l'agent abrasif doux permet, avec l'action conjointe de la mastication, un effet de nettoyage et de polissage à minima.
L'effet conjugué de ces différents éléments permet d'avoir une action intéressante en hygiène dentaire avec des éléments s'attaquant à la physio- pathologie de l'apparition de la plaque dentaire et du dépôt de tartre et une action préventive anti-carie ainsi qu'une protection de l'émail dentaire avec un résultat visible en laissant les dents lisses et brillantes.
Chez l'homme et l'enfant, l'usage de cette composition est surtout intéressante en complément du brossage permettant ainsi de protéger les dents entre deux brossage et de rafraîchir l'haleine.
Chez le chien, elle apporte une solution nouvelle à un problème jusqu'ici difficile à traiter : diminuer le dépôt de tartre et améliorer l'haleine.
Cette composition est bien entendu essentiellement destinée à être utilisée par des humains. Dans ce cas, elle est présentée en comprimés ou en tablettes, qu'il suffit de croquer pour qu'elle s'applique sur les dents. Les deux exemples ci-après illustrent à titre non limitatif deux compositions destinées respectivement aux adultes et aux enfants :

Bien entendu, les exemples ci-dessus n'ont qu'un caractère illustratif et ne constituent pas une limitation à l'objet de l'invention.
Claims
1. Composition dentifrice présentée sous forme solide, à usage humain et animal, caractérisée en ce qu'elle comprend :
- au moins un composant possédant une activité antiseptique et/ou anti¬ microbienne,
- au moins un composant exerçant une action abrasive,
- au moins un composant exerçant une action retard sur le dépôt de tartre,
- au moins un composant possédant la propriété de s'attaquer à la plaque dentaire, et ayant éventuellement des propriétés anti-microbiennes,
- et au moins un composé constituant une source de fluor.
2. Composition dentifrice selon la revendication 1 , caractérisée en ce qu'elle contient au surplus :
- un anti-inflammatoire local contre les gingivites,
- un arôme,
- un colorant
- et/ou un composé pour traiter la mauvaise haleine.
3. Composition selon l'une des revendications 1 et 2, et destinée aux humains adultes, caractérisée en ce qu'elle comprend, sous forme de comprimés ou tablettes, destinés aux humais adultes :

4. Composition selon l'une des revendications 1 et 2, destinée aux enfants, caractérisée en ce qu'elle comprend sous forme sous forme de comprimés ou tablettes, Composants Pourcentage Aminés Fluorées
