Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a device for spraying a disinfectant product on infected materials, deposited in a receptacle, each time the lid thereof is closed.
Infected material is commonly placed in receptacles without immediate disinfection. These infected materials are transported to different places and risk spreading their infection each time the receptacle is opened and when they are emptied into a treatment place.
The device according to the invention makes it possible to eliminate these risks as soon as the infected materials are deposited in a receptacle.
According to a first characteristic, the device spraying a disinfectant product into a receptacle which has just received infected materials, is remarkable in that it comprises a nozzle fixed under the cover of the receptacle, said cover being associated with a lever articulated in rotation around an axis integral with a frame, and in that it comprises a return rod associated with limited axial movement and controlled at said hinge lever of the cover, said return rod acting on the rod of a piston of a pump at the end of the cover closing stroke, said piston rod and a pump aspirating at the opening a disinfectant product in a tank associated with the chassis, conduits ensuring the distribution and the transfer of the disinfectant product between a tank and the nozzle, and in that the closing of the cover is progressive and involves in two phases the lowering of the rod return without action on the piston rod, then at the end of the cover closing stroke by pressing on said piston rod and causing the product to push through the nozzle and its projection onto the materials contained in the receptacle.
These characteristics and others will emerge clearly from the following description.
To fix the subject of the invention illustrated in a nonlimiting manner in the figures of the drawing.
Figure 1 shows an overview of the device, closed lid, according to the invention.
Figure 2 is a partial sectional view illustrating the elastic mounting of the piston rod in the pump.
In order to make the object of the invention more concrete, it is now described in a nonlimiting manner illustrated in the figures of the drawing.
The device comprises a cover (1) adapted to the receptacle (21) and closing it. The cover (1) is equipped with a spray nozzle (2). The lever (3) integral with the cover (1) is articulated in rotation about the axis (5). The latter is integral with the support (4) welded to the chassis (20) which can be fixed or mobile. The lever (3) has a hole through which passes the axis (7) which slides radially, during the rotation of the cover (1), in the oblong recess of the return rod (6). The latter is integral with the piston rod (8) of the pump (9). This is connected, by a hinge (13) in rotation, to the chassis (20). This articulation maintains an axial pulling or pushing action on the piston rod (8) during lid opening and closing phases (1). The outlet of the pump (9) is fitted with a tee (10). The two free ends of the latter are connected to the non-return valves (11) and (12). At the opening of the cover (1), the assembly described above pulls on the piston rod (8) of the pump (9) which sucks disinfectant product in the reservoir (14) through the flexible pipe (15) . During this movement, the non-return valve (12) is closed and the non-return valve (11) is open. This suction takes place during the final phase of opening the cover (1). Indeed, the axis (7) slides in the oblong hole of the return rod (6) during the first phase of opening the cover (1). The lever (3), at the end of the opening stroke, is stopped in its rotation by the adjustable stop (17). This setting determines the dose of product aspirated, therefore that which will be sprayed at closure. At the start of this, the axis (7) slides in the oblong hole of the deflection rod (6) during the first phase of the closing of the cover (1). In the final phase of closure, the axis (7) pushes on the deflection rod (6) which pushes the piston rod (8) of the pump (9) and therefore pushes back the dose of product aspirated to the 'opening. During the closing phase, the non-return valve (12) is opened and releases the product which is pushed through the flexible pipe (16) to the nozzle (2) which sprays the dose of product previously aspirated. The non-return valve (11) is closed during this phase.
Ce réglage permet une adaptation à la hauteur du réceptacle (21).The support plate (18) of the receptacle (21) can slide on the support (4) and is locked on the latter by a screw (19). This adjustment allows adaptation to the height of the receptacle (21).
By way of nonlimiting example, this receptacle can have a height and a width of 0.30 M and more.
The pump (9) and the non-return valves (11) and (12) are immersible in the tank (14) fixed on the chassis (20). The pump (9) is designed to receive a return spring (22) from the piston rod (8) which will only be actuated by the return rod (6) at the end of the cover closing stroke (1).
The device according to the invention is particularly intended for the immediate spraying of disinfectant product, during collection in a receptacle, on infected materials generated by medical, paramedical and laboratory establishments.
