Claims (5)

  1. Device for carrying out the process according to claim 1, with a delivery point (A) for loading a paper roll carrier, a positioning station (B), for aligning and positioning a paper roll (8), which has a pair of positioning cones (18) which can be moved towards one another and are fastened such that they can be displaced by external action exclusively in the vertical direction and with a support (5, 6) which can be rotated about a vertical axis and can be displaced in the direction of the axis of the paper roll (8) for receiving the same, a travelling platform (5) for the transverse displacement and a lifting device (11) for positioning the support in the vertical direction and aligning the same in a vertical plane, with the support being capable of being locked relative to the travelling platform (5) and being rotatable about a vertical axis and displacable in the direction of the axis of the paper roll (8) in the unlocked state.
  3. Device according to claim 2, characterized in that the positioning cones (18) are fastened to opposing positioning columns (14) which can be moved towards one another.
  4. Device according to claim 3, characterized in that the positioning columns (14) are displaceably suspended on a bar (13) of a portal.
  5. Device according to claim 4, characterized in that the bar has at least one gear rack (15) into which pinions driven by motors on the positioning columns (14) engage.
