Abstract

1. A trigger device for a flushing cistern (1), e.g. of a water closet, comprising a siphon flushing means consisting of an overflow pipe (4) with a bottom valve (15, 16) disposed at its lower end and a siphon bell (7) that overlaps the upper end of the overflow pipe (4) leaving a phasage free for the flushing medium, is connected with the overflow pipe (4) via webs (8) and extends over only part of the length of the overflow pipe, and an activating means for the trigger device which, upon one activation, effects the complete discharge of the flushing medium and, upon another activation, only effects a partial discharge of the flushing medium, characterized in that the siphon bell (7) is supported via spacers (8a) on a float ring (10) disposed in a float bowl (11) that surrounds the overflow pipe (9), is stationary with respect to the movement of the overflow pipe (9) end siphon bell (7) and has outlets (14) in its bottom.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Auslösevorrichtung für einen Spülkasten z. 10. A device according to one or more of the above claims, characterized in that the siphon bell (7) has a widened portion (22) in the area of transition to the bell bottom (4).

14. A device according to one or more of claims 11 to 13, characterized in that a lateral connection piece (28) that is open at the bottom (at 29) and optionally of variable length is attached in the vicinity of the apex (27) of the U-shaped overflow pipe (9).
15. A device according to one or more of the above claims, characterized in that an opening (14a) of adjustable cross-section is provided on the side or on the bottom of the float bowl (11).
