Die Erfindung betrifft eine Kühlvorrichtung mit Axiallüfter in Kapselbauweise.The invention relates to a cooling device with an axial fan in a capsule design.

Im heutigen Fahrzeugbau wird aufgrund strenger Geräuschvorschriften die Schallabstrahlung des Kraftfahrzeugmotors samt zugehöriger Kühlanlage durch Anbringen von Schürzen, Teilkapseln oder Vollkapseln reduziert. Durch diese Maßnahmen werden die Öffnungen, durch die die vom Lüfter geförderte Luft abströmen konnte, weitestgehend geschlossen bzw. verkleinert. Um die erforderliche Kühlleistung beizubehalten, ist die gleiche Menge Luft durchzusetzen. Durch die verkleinerten Öffnungen entsteht im Betrieb in nachteiliger Weise ein höherer austrittsseitiger Staudruck, gegen den der Lüfter arbeiten muß. Strenge Rotationssymmetrie der Prallplatte ist erfindungsgemäß nicht notwendig, da es auf die Unwucht nicht ankommt.
