Abstract
Способ атмосферного выщелачивания для извлечения никеля и кобальта из латеритной руды, при этом упомянутая латеритная руда включает фракцию руды с низким содержанием магния и фракцию с высоким содержанием магния, а упомянутый способ включает следующие стадии: (а) формирование водной пульпы упомянутой латеритной руды, (b) выщелачивание упомянутой водной пульпы концентрированной минеральной кислотой при атмосферном давлении для получения шлама, содержащего насыщенную жидкость для выщелачивания и остаток выщелачивания, (с) обработка насыщенной жидкости для выщелачивания по отдельности или в виде части упомянутого шлама для извлечения из него растворенного никеля и кобальта, оставляя содержащий магний отбросный раствор, (d) обработка упомянутого содержащего магний отбросного раствора для извлечения из него содержащей магний соли.An atmospheric leaching method for recovering nickel and cobalt from laterite ore, wherein said laterite ore comprises a low magnesium ore fraction and a high magnesium fraction, and said method comprises the following steps: (a) forming an aqueous slurry of said laterite ore, (b ) leaching said aqueous slurry with concentrated mineral acid at atmospheric pressure to produce a slurry containing a saturated leach liquid and a leach residue, (c) treating the saturated leach liquid individually or as part of said slurry to recover dissolved nickel and cobalt therefrom, leaving a magnesium-containing waste solution, (d) treating said magnesium-containing waste solution to recover a magnesium-containing salt therefrom.
