Abstract

В соответствии с предложенным способом загрузки в электрическую дуговую печь (1) мелкозернистых металлов, в частности, железа, полученного методом прямого восстановления, металл, подводимый через подающую трубу (12) к отверстию (10), выполненному в своде (4) печи, вводят в печь (1) через указанное отверстие (10) в виде потока (11) сыпучего материала, при этом металл падает на расплав (13) только за счет гравитации. Кроме того, описана электрическая дуговая печь (1), подходящая для этой цели. Ввод в значительной степени без потерь даже мелкозернистого материала с размером зерна менее 1 мм достигается за счет пропускания потока (11) сыпучего материала после прохождения подводящей трубы (12), до его поступления в печь (1), через дозирующее сопло (8). В результате поток (11) сыпучего материала входит в печь, по существу, невозмущенным.
