Description

Description
The present invention relates to a holding device for a container to be inserted into a dispenser in particular for liquid products, especially soaps, as well as to the combination of such holding device with a connecting element being detachably connectable with it, as well as to a dispenser being provided with such holding device and connection element.
Dispensers for liquid products, in particular soaps, are widely known. It is possible to insert containers for liquid products into such dispensers. In this embodiment, on the one hand, these insert containers for liquid products are constructed especially for the respective dispensers, especially as to their dimensions. On the other hand, a multitude of such insert containers are known in the market, not being constructed in particular for a certain known dispenser. Upon inserting these insert containers, it often occurs that the dispenser is not functioning correctly or that it is difficult to use, which is often due to not being optimally positioned and inserted into the dispenser. Therefore, there is a need to provide a device by means of which insert containers can be inserted into a dispenser, which are not constructed especially for it. US-B-8 020 733 discloses a dispenser with a holding device comprising all features of the generic concept of claim 1.
The object of the present invention is therefore to provide a device which avoids the aforementioned disadvantages.
This object is achieved by providing a holding device for a container, in particular for liquid products, especially soaps, but in particular also for disinfection agents, lotions of each kind, hand creams, foaming agents and foamed agents, which can be inserted into a dispenser, comprising a holding device to be detachably arranged into said dispenser, a receiving part to detachably receive a connecting element for said container, as well as a supporting part which provides a bearing surface for said container. Further preferred, said holding device according to the invention has a transition part between said holding part and said supporting part, formed as a protrusion. The surfaces defined by said holding part and said supporting part are preferably at different levels, relative to a bottom of a dispenser. In particular, the surface of said supporting part is preferably arranged above the surface of said holding part and thus at a higher level, relative to a bottom surface defined by a bottom of a dispenser, into which said holding device can be inserted. This construction advantageously provides in particular a space-saving and at the same time sufficiently fixed holding device. Said holding part can be firmly attached to a rear wall and/or side walls of said dispenser, for example by bonding, or it may even be constructed in one piece with it, for example by being made in one single injection molding step together with the dispenser. Due to the various functions of the different parts of the holding device according to the invention, it may be used universally. Preferably, said connecting element is constructed in a way that it connects an actuating device for a pump as well as the pump itself on one of the sides with an opening of said insert container. This connecting element can preferred be inserted into said receiving part of the holding device according to the invention, which is preferably surrounded by the surfaces of said holding part and said supporting part, which are located at different levels. Preferably, said receiving part has a reception, being in its end region adapted to an outer contour of said connection element which can be received in it. In a top view, the reception of said receiving part can be addressed as an oblong hole. Preferably, said receiving part has a first and a second guide wall, which are arranged opposite each other, and provide a guiding for said connection element to be inserted, upon inserting it into the reception of said receiving part.
Said receiving part comprises at each of its first and second guide wall opposing said first guide wall, in the region of the reception for said connecting element, at least one first and one second protrusion. Preferably, said first guide wall comprises exactly one first protrusion, and said second guide wall comprises exactly one second protrusion. Preferably, said at least two protrusions are arranged opposite each other. Further preferred, they are arranged in a transition area between said first and second guide wall of the reception of said receiving part and the end region of the reception, adapted with their inner contour to the outer contour of said connection element. Said at least two protrusions allow a save hold of said connecting element in said holding device and an exact alignment of it, which ensures that the container to be connected with said connecting element has a functionally safe hold which is further supported by the supporting part of the holding device according to the invention.
At least in the area of said protrusions, said first and the second guide wall are formed to be flexible. A recess is arranged between said first and second protrusion and said first respectively second guide wall. This recess advantageously serves to give some flexibility to said at least two protrusions, which provides a kind of snap mechanism to said connecting element to be received in the reception of said receiving part.
Further advantageously, said receiving part has at least two portions with different inner diameters d1 and d2. In this embodiment it may be provided that these portions are present only in that part of the reception of said receiving part which is adapted to the outer contour of the connecting element, however, said portions are advantageously also provided in the area of said first and said second guide wall, in a way that the connecting element which is formed to be introducible into the reception, is provided with an additional insertion aid via a set-back, which is rail-like formed by the differing inner diameter d1 respectively d2. Preferably, the portion with the smaller inner diameter d2 is relative to a longitudinal cross-section of said holding device provided in the lower part of said receiving part, whereas the upper portion of said receiving part has a larger inner diameter d1. Advantageously, said at least two protrusions are formed in a way that they are arranged in the portion with the smaller inner diameter d2. Further advantageously, the top edge of said protrusions fits flush with the setback formed by the varying inner diameters of the reception, advantageously, at a lower inner diameter d2 even in the area of said first and second guide wall, it also fits flush without a step with the rail-like insertion aids for said connecting element which are formed herewith.
In a preferred embodiment of the holding device according to the invention, said supporting part has at least two portions being assigned to said first and second guide wall of the receiving part. Each of these portions has preferably at least one rib element on a surface facing the container. This rib element advantageously provides a bearing surface for the container. Thus, the container advantageously supports in particular on the upper edge of this riblike elements. Advantageously, on each surface of each portion exactly one such rib element is arranged. This rib element extends along an imaginary longitudinal axis, via an area of about 70 % of the surface, at least 80 % of the surface, of each portion. Further advantageously, these rib-like elements merge into an upper reinforcing element, being formed approximately triangular in a side view, and being linked with the rib element of said supporting part. The upper reinforcing element being formed more or less triangularly in a side view of the holding device according to the invention, is in this embodiment on the one hand connected with a surface of said holding part, on the other hand with the surface of the offset facing said holding part. Furthermore, advantageously, a lower reinforcing element is also provided, which is also formed triangularly in a side view of said holding device, and is arranged at a lower surface of said supporting part as well as at the inner surface of the offset.
Said holding part of the holding device according to the invention advantageously has, especially in case of a detachable embodiment, catch and/or holding means. These catch and/or holding means are advantageously arranged on the longitudinal sides of said holding part, and can for example be formed as holding means consisting of rail-like formed protrusions to be inserted into guide rails, arranged inside a dispenser, or as usual snap-in noses being catch means which can engage in corresponding recesses in the housing of the dispenser, in particular in its side walls respectively rear walls. Combinations, particularly of the two aforementioned catch and/or holding means are also possible.
Further advantageously, the holding device according to the invention has guide means for a container with soap or other liquids et cetera. In this embodiment, advantageously at least two guide means are provided. Said guide means are advantageously arranged on the supporting part. Further advantageously, said one or more guide means are starting from an edge and/or a surface of said supporting part arranged on it, further preferred, at least one guide means is arranged on one of the two portions of said supporting part. Said one or more guide means advantageously have an inner wall, the contour of which is at least partly adapted to a bottom area of a container to be inserted into said holding device. Advantageously, said guide means has a slightly arched form and further advantageously protrudes slightly beyond an outer edge of said supporting part. Advantageously, said guide means is arranged at a longitudinal edge of said supporting part, which means in particular of the two portions of it, and starting from a surface of said supporting part.
Further advantageously, the holding device according to the invention has an extension in its receiving part, which protrudes downwards beyond a lower surface of the holding part. Advantageously, this extension has a side wall which is further advantageously formed as a circle, even further advantageously forms a circle section with an angle range from about 120° to about 180°. Further preferred, said extension has a bottom. Advantageously, a recess is provided in it. It may also be provided that such a recess is provided in said extension, if no bottom is present. Flowever, if such a bottom is present, it provides in case of a particularly preferred semicircular embodiment of the wall of said extension, an additional support of a connecting element receivable preferably detachably in the receiving part, which can for example receive a pump. Said extension furthermore provides an extension of the receiving of the receiving part, which enables to receive an upper tube part of an inserted connecting element more safely into the receiving part of the holding device according to the invention.
The present invention furthermore relates to a holding device as above defined, with a connecting element which can be detachably connected with it, received in the receiving part of said holding device. Said connecting element is formed as above described, and adapts with its outer contour in particular to the end region of the reception of said receiving part to said holding device. Said connecting element can also be formed in one piece with said container to be inserted into the dispenser, if appropriate even together with the pumping mechanism. Said connecting element preferably has an upper and a lower tube part. Said upper tube part is preferably aligned towards the top. Preferred, it forms an opening plane which is parallel to a plane in which for example the supporting part of said holding device is located. Said lower tube part preferably has an opening plane which is approximately vertical to a plane in which for example the supporting part of said holding device is located. In particular, said connecting element has different inner diameters D1 and D2 in the area of said upper tube part of it, which is aligned upwardly in the direction of a container. Thus, this upper tube part has at least two part tube sections with different inner diameters D1 respectively D2. In a cross-sectional view, said connecting element is to be addressed as essentially having an L-form, wherein said lower tube part is offset by 90° towards said upper tube part. A connecting area between upper tube part and lower tube part has been created, and advantageously has a receiving area, in which an actuating device respectively a pump for the dispenser, which is inserted into the connecting element, i.e. in its lower tube part, can operate for the dispenser.
Especially preferred, a part tube section of said upper tube part of said connecting element with a smaller inner diameter D2 is assigned to said at least two protrusions of said receiving part.
Furthermore, the present invention relates to a dispenser with a housing, a holding device as above described as well as a connecting element as above described. Advantageously, this dispenser is constructed in a way that said holding device is with its holding part, in particular detachably received in guide rails being arranged at a first and at a second side wall of the housing of the dispenser. Further preferred, latching means are provided in order to latch said holding part in said housing. In a further preferred embodiment, said container, especially for liquid products, being arranged in said housing, is with its bottom side at least partly in contact with said supporting part of said holding device.
The contact is in this embodiment provided by the upper edges of the rib elements, being arranged on the surfaces of the two portions of said supporting part, but it can moreover also be provided by the surfaces of said supporting part themselves. Said latching means are arranged in the housing preferably in said first and said second side wall and/or the rear wall of the same, and are advantageously formed as recesses, matching with snap-in noses, which are advantageously arranged at the longitudinal sides and/or the end areas of said holding part, for achieving a latching.
The dispenser according to the invention can advantageously have a cover which is deflected in a low area of a rear wall of it. Said cover is preferably formed in a way that it can be latched respectively locked with parts of said left and right side wall of said housing as well of said rear wall of it. Advantageously, said dispenser can be arranged at a vertical wall. For achieving a firm fit of said container in said housing of said dispenser, preferably additional latching means are provided, which can be received in the housing of the dispenser. Such latching means act on an upper bottom of said container, and can be inserted in a rail-like recess arranged in the upper area of the rear wall of the housing. They advantageously have a semi-circular form in their area facing said container, and in total seen in a side view have a mushroom-like form. This construction enables these latching means to exert pressure respectively give orientation via the upper bottom onto the container, which means that the interaction with said holding device and in particular of said supporting part of it with said container provides a safe hold of it in the housing of said dispenser.
The holding device according to the invention, the inventive combination of said holding device with said connecting element, but also the dispenser according to the invention and the container to be inserted in it are advantageously made of plastic materials. The manufacture can advantageously be realized by injection molding, in case of the container, a blow molding method can also be applied. The same applies to a dispenser for insertion into said connecting element, in particular a pump mechanism. Besides plastic materials, also metallic or other suitable materials, even wood, can be used for the mentioned components.

At first, it should be mentioned that the invention is not limited to the features as shown in the figures. In fact, each features disclosed in the description including the description of the figures can be combined with the features specified in the figures. In particular, the designs of the embodiments of the holding device according to the invention as shown in Fig. 1 to Fig. 11 are each only one of the possible designs. In particular, the holding device according to the invention may have several rib elements, upper and lower reinforcing elements as well as several protrusions in the receiving part. The same applies especially also regarding the embodiment of the connecting element as well as of the dispenser itself, wherein particularly the dispenser may have any other possible embodiment, especially its cover. An advantageous detachable arrangement of the holding device according to the invention in the dispenser may also be made in different ways by different latching means including locking elements. Alternatively, an embodiment of the dispenser with the holding element in one piece is also possible. Finally, it should also be indicated that the reference numbers used in the claims are in no way meant to limit the scope of protection of the present invention, but are only meant to refer to the examples of embodiments as shown in the figures.
Fig. 1 shows a holding device according to the invention, in total marked with the reference number 10, having a holding part 20, a receiving part 22 and a supporting part 24. In the side view of Fig. 1 it can be clearly seen that the holding part 20 is connected with the supporting part 24 via a transition part formed as an offset 56, in a way that a surface of the supporting part 24 is at a higher level than a surface of the holding part 20.
The holding device 10 furthermore has a rib element 46.1 arranged on the supporting part 24, which merges into an upper reinforcing element 54.1, in a side view shaped approximately triangularly, preferred in the form of an isosceles triangle. This upper reinforcing element 54.1 is connected with the surface of the holding part 20 as well as with the surface of the offset 56. Further, a lower reinforcing element 52.1 is provided, which is connected with the supporting part 24 on the inner side of the offset 56 and on the bottom side of the supporting part 24, and which is also shaped approximately triangularly in a side view.
Fig. 2 shows the holding device according to Fig. 1 in a perspective plan view. Here, the holding part 20 has at its longitudinal sides and in the area of an end side 19 latching means 21.1 and 21.2, shaped as snap-in noses. The areas of the longitudinal sides of the holding part 20 located in front of these latching means 21.1 and 21.2 are formed as protrusions, and especially serve as holding means for introducing into guide rails of a dispenser, which are not shown here (see Fig. 9 to Fig. 11).
The supporting part 24 has two portions 42 and 44, being formed laterally reversed towards each other in a similar form. These have rib elements 46.1 respectively 46.2 on the surfaces 48 and 50 of the portions 42 and 44. The rib elements 46.1 and 46.2 provide with their upper edges a bearing surface, but also an adjustment for the container received in the dispenser, which is not shown here (see Fig. 9 to Fig. 11), wherein the container also remains in contact with the surfaces 48 and 50 of the portions 42 and 44. In this way, a bearing surface 26 for the container not shown here, is provided.
The receiving part 22 is formed like an oblong hole, and has a first and a second guide wall 30 respectively 32, as well as a reception 34, which comprises the guide walls 30 and 32. The reception 34 (see Fig. 3 and Fig. 4) is in its end region with its inner contour adapted to the outer contour of a connecting element which can be inserted into the reception 34 of the receiving part 22 (see Fig. 6 to Fig. 8). A second protrusion 38 is arranged in the end region of the second guide wall 32, and correspondingly, on the opposite side (here not shown) at the first guide wall 30 there is a first protrusion 36 (see fig. 3 and Fig. 4). The receiving part 22 has an upper portion 23.1 and a lower portion 23.2 with different inner diameters d1 respectively d2 (see Fig. 3), wherein the inner diameter d2 of the lower portion 23.2 is smaller than the inner diameter of the upper portion 23.1. Correspondingly, a lower portion is formed in the area of the first and the second guide wall 30 respectively 32, which apart from the area of the protrusion 38 respectively 36 also has a lower inner diameter d2 than the upper portion 23.1 with an inner diameter d1. This provides via the guide walls 30 respectively 32 a rail-like guiding to facilitate the insertion of the connecting element not shown here, into the holding device 10. This guide rail merges without a step into the protrusions 36 respectively 38 and into the actual reception 34.
The rib-like elements 46.1 and 46.2 merge into upper reinforcing elements 54.1 and 54.2, being formed identically to each other.
Fig. 3 shows in a side view very clearly the different inner diameters d1 of the first portion 23.1 and d2 of the second portion 23.2, wherein diameter d2 is lower than diameter d1. The two protrusions 36 respectively 38 can also be seen very clearly in this figure, as well as the arrangement of lower reinforcing elements 52.1 and 52.2, as already described in Fig. 2. Reference number 56 marks an offset in Fig. 3, which is provided due to the differing inner diameters d1 and d2 being present in the total area of the receiving part 22, and which facilitates the insertion of the connecting element not shown here.
Fig. 4 in particular shows the embodiment of the protrusions 36 and 38, being arranged in the end region of the first and second guide walls 30 and 32 in the receiving part 22, exactly in the transition area towards the end region of the actual reception 34. A recess 40.1 respectively 40.2 is provided between the guide walls 30 and 32 in the area of the protrusions 36 and 38, which gives a certain elasticity to the protrusions 36 and 38, and provides a kind of snap mechanism for the connecting element to be inserted which is not shown here, which gives the connecting element a safe hold and sufficient positioning. In this embodiment, the positioning is supported by the offset 56. the depth of the recesses 40.1 and 40.2 determines the elasticity respectively flexibility of the protrusions 36 and 38. Preferably, the recesses 40.1 and 40.2 have a depth which approximately corresponds to the strength of the guide rail formed on the inner side of the guide walls 30 and 32. Further preferred, the depth of the recesses 40.1 and 40.2 can extend beyond the above defined strength.
Fig. 5 to Fig. 8 show an arrangement of the holding element 10 according to the invention with a connecting element 16. Fig. 5 shows this arrangement in a side view, wherein the lower, approximately in parallel to the holding device 10 aligned tube part 66 as well as a receiving area 68 can be seen very clearly, which enables to receive especially an actuating device for a pump, here not shown in more detail, and the pump itself in the connecting element 16.
Fig. 6 shows the arrangement according to Fig. 5 in a perspective view, wherein the construction of the connecting element 16 in approximately an L form with the lower tube part 66 and an upward tube part 60 can be seen very clearly, wherein the latter has a setback 65, in a way that the upward tube part 60 has an upper part tube section 62 with a larger inner diameter D1 and a lower part tube section 64 with a lower inner diameter D2, as seen in Fig. 7. Moreover, Fig. 7 shows the interaction of the holding device 10 with the connecting element 16 upon receiving in the end region of the reception 34 in the area of the protrusions 36 and 38, and the assignment of the setback 65 in the part tube section 62 of the upward tube part 60 to the rail-like offset 56, which is continued in the area of the reception 34 of the receiving part 22. Fig. 8 shows in a plan view the arrangement of the holding device 10 and the connecting element 16.
Fig. 9 shows a part of a housing 70 of a dispenser with a holding device 10 connected detachably with it. The housing 70 is here formed of a first side wall 72 and a second side wall 74 as well as of a rear wall 88. The rear wall has in its upper region a locking mechanism 83.1. In its lower region at the first and correspondingly also at the second side wall 72 respectively 74, a joint 84.1 respectively 84.2 (see Fig. 11) is arranged, and a movable cover can be arranged at it.
The holding device 10 is received in guide rails 76 with its holding part 20 and with its longitudinal sides having an offset, the guide rails 76 being arranged on surfaces of the side walls 72 facing an interior of the housing 70, exactly four on each side. In addition, a latching is made by latching means not shown here, of the holding part 20 in recesses in the transition of the first and second side walls 72 respectively 74 into the rear wall 88 of the housing 70.
Fig. 10 now shows a dispenser 14 with a container 121 inserted in it, the part of the housing according to Fig. 9 and the holding device 10 detachably connected with it. It can be seen especially clearly that the container 12 lies with a bottom 90 on the surfaces of the portions 42 and 44 of the supporting part 24 via rib elements 46.1 and 46.2, respectively is aligned by them, also due to curves in the bottom area of the container 12. In this embodiment, the bottom 90 is at least in contact with the upper edge of the rib elements 46.1 and 46.2. Preferably and as in the embodiment according to Fig. 10 shown, the bottom 90 of the container 12 is additionally in contact with a part of the surfaces 48 and 50 of the portions 42 and 44 of the supporting part 24, being near the guide walls 30 and 32.
Moreover, it can be seen that the connecting element 16 has at its lower tube part 66 arranged an actuating device 86 for a pump being arranged in the connecting element 16, and by pressing it respectively executing action, the user can receive a liquid product, especially a soap, also as a foam, from the container 12 of the dispenser 14.
The container 12 is furthermore orientated by latching means 80.1 and 80.2 shaped approximately mushroom-like as seen in a side view, which are arranged in a rail 81 in the upper area of the housing 70 at the rear wall 88 of it. The latching means 80.1 and 80.2 are arranged movably in the rail 81, and even more than the two latching means 80.1 and 80.2 as shown in Fig. 10 can be provided. Via the semicircular shape of the head of these latching means 80.1 and 80.2, the container 12 is pressed in the direction onto the supporting part 24 of the holding device 10, which secures a safe hold of the container 12 in the dispenser 14. In addition, the latching means 80.1 and 80.2 also provide the container with a positioning as this is also achieved by connecting the container 12 with the connecting element 16, which fits tightly but detachably in the holding device 10.
Fig. 11 shows the complete dispenser 14 with a cover 82, from which also the further element 83.2, being part of the locking mechanism, can be seen, as well as the joints 84.1 and 84.2.
Fig. 12 to Fig. 15 show a second embodiment of the holding device 10 according to the invention. For this embodiment, same reference numbers were used for same parts as for the embodiment according to Fig. 1 to Fig. 4. Consequently, in the following, particularly the differences will be outlined.
Fig. 12 shows the second embodiment of the holding device 10 in a side view. This second embodiment differs from the first embodiment according to Fig. 1 to Fig. 4 in a way that in addition, guiding means 28.1 and 28.2 (see Fig. 13) are provided, being arranged at the supporting part 24. The arrangement is especially made starting from the portions 42 and 44 of the supporting part 24. Preferred, the guiding means 28.1 and 28.2 are arranged in pairs, in the second embodiment according to Fig. 12 in pairs opposite each other (see Fig. 13). The arrangement of the guiding means 28.1 and 28.2 is made in the edge region, starting from the surface 48 of the portions 42 and 44 of the supporting part 24. The guiding means 28.1 and 28.2 are formed slightly convex outwards and for the most part protrude beyond an outer edge of the portions 42 and 44 of the supporting part 24, as it can especially be taken from Fig. 14 and Fig. 15. By means of the slightly convex form of the guiding means 28.1 and 28.2, a container which can be inserted into the holding device 10, can be held more safely by them. Advantageously, in this embodiment a contour of an inner surface of the guiding means 28.1 and 28.2 is adapted to or at least similar to an outer contour of the bottom area of a container, as shown for example in Fig. 10 and Fig. 11.
Furthermore, the second embodiment of the holding device 10 has, compared to the first embodiment according to Fig. 1 to Fig. 4, an extension 29 of the receiving part 22. The extension protrudes downwards beyond a lower surface of the holding part 20 and consists of at least one side wall 31. This side wall is formed as a circle and can in the second embodiment of the holding device 10 be addressed as a circular arc segment with an angle of 180°.
The extension 29 can furthermore and has in case of the second embodiment of the holding device 10, a bottom 27, in which a recess 25 is arranged. By means of this embodiment of the extension 29, a connecting element 16 can, as shown in Fig. 5 and Fig. 8 relating to the first embodiment of the holding device 10, be held more safely, in particular if the upper tube part 60 has a constriction in the region of the transition to the connecting area to the lower tube part 66, and only subsequently an expansion to an upper tube part 60, being essentially shaped with a circular cross section. The extension 29 serves on the one hand to safely receive the connecting element 16, on the other hand, the extension 29 also improves the mechanical strength and functionality of the holding device 10, because upon actuating a dispenser mechanism, preferred of a pump mechanism which can be inserted into the connecting element 16, forces are exerted on it, which are transferred via the extension 29 to the complete holding device 10 and diverted via the holding device 10 in case of arranging it in a housing of a dispenser.
Thus, the present invention advantageously provides a holding device, an arrangement comprising this holding device and a connecting means, as well as a dispenser with the holding device and the connecting means, which makes it possible for containers not being constructed in particular for a dispenser to be positioned via the holding device and to be arranged in it sufficiently safe and fixed in order to facilitate a smooth functioning of the complete dispenser.
