Description
Description
The invention relates to a storage wagon for bulk material, including a loading container which is mobile on on-track undercarriages and comprises a bottom conveyor belt extending in the longitudinal direction of the wagon, and a transfer conveyor belt, adjoining the bottom conveyor belt and projecting over a front end of the wagon, for transferring stored bulk material in a conveying direction onto a preceding further storage wagon.
According to DE 4 104 877 Bl, a storage wagon of this type is already known which may be coupled during working operations with any desired number of like storage wagons to form a loading train. Fastened in the rear end region of the storage wagon is an auxiliary conveyor belt which assumes - in part or even wholly - the function of the transfer conveyor belt.
It is the object of the present invention to create a storage wagon of the specified type with which an additional possibility of loading may be actuated, as needed. According to the invention, this object is achieved with a storage wagon of the kind mentioned at the beginning by means of the features cited in the characterizing part of the main claim. With an auxiliary conveyor belt designed in this manner, it is possible in an advantageous way to receive, for example from an excavator, bulk material as needed in the area of a construction site even without the use of a specially designed transfer wagon, and to store it in the loading container. The refitting operation required for this purpose can be carried out very simply and quickly by mere longitudinal displacement of the auxiliary conveyor belt. A particular advantage can also be seen in the fact that the auxiliary conveyor belt in its rest position does not compromise in any way the proven advantages of the storage wagons.
Additional advantages and embodiments of the invention become apparent from the dependent claims and the drawing. The invention will be described in more detail below with reference to an embodiment represented in the drawing.
There is shown: in Fig. 1 a simplified side view of a storage wagon having an auxiliary conveyor belt, and further storage wagons, in Fig. 2 an enlarged side view of the auxiliary conveyor belt in its working position, in Fig. 3 a simplified cross-section according to section line III in Fig. 1, and in Fig. 4 a view of a lower portion of the auxiliary conveyor belt. A storage wagon 1, shown in Figs. 1 and 2, consists essentially of a wagon frame 4 - mobile via two on-track undercarriages 2 on a track 3 - and a loading container 5 connected thereto. A bottom conveyor belt 6 extending in the longitudinal direction of the wagon forms the floor surface of the loading container 5 and has a drive 7 for actuation in a conveying- or transporting direction 8. Provided at a front end 9, with respect to this transporting direction 8 of the loading container 5, is a transfer conveyor belt 10 which is mounted on the wagon frame 4 underneath a discharge end of the bottom conveyor belt 6, adjoining the same. The transfer conveyor belt 10 is designed to lead upward at a slant, projecting beyond a front end of the wagon, and is equipped with a drive 13.
As shown in Fig. 1, any desired number of storage wagons 1 of like design can be coupled by means of coupling devices 14 to form an installation 15, mobile on the track 3, with which bulk material 17 can be stored and/or transported in the conveying direction 8. When storage wagons 1 are coupled to one another in this manner, the bottom- and transfer conveyor belts 6, 10, overlapping one another at the ends, of the individual wagons form a continuous conveyor belt road, with the bulk material 17 being passed on in each case from a discharge end of a transfer conveyor belt 10 to the bottom conveyor belt 6 of the storage wagon 1 preceding in the transporting direction.
At higher transporting speed of the conveyor belts 6, 10, the bulk material 17 is merely transported through the loading containers 5 in the transporting direction 8 or the longitudinal direction of the installation 15. If, however, the drive 7 of a bottom conveyor belt 6 is switched to slow speed of revolution, this causes the formation of a bulk material cone, and the bulk material 17 is accordingly stored in this loading container 5.
On an upper end 19 of one of the loading containers 5, an auxiliary conveyor belt 20 is arranged in resting position (see Figs. 1 and 3), the auxiliary conveyor belt 20 extending in the longitudinal direction of the wagon and parallel to the bottom conveyor belt 6. The auxiliary conveyor belt 20 is mounted on rollers 18 and displaceable by means of a drive 21 in the longitudinal direction of the wagon into an operating position. A further drive 26 provides for a rotary motion of the auxiliary conveyor belt 20. The length of the auxiliary conveyor belt 20 corresponds to approximately half the length of the bottom conveyor belt 6.
In the operating position of the auxiliary conveyor belt 20, represented in Fig. 2 in solid lines, a receiving end 22 - positioned rearward with respect to the conveying direction 8 - is arranged immediately above the track 3. By means of a pivotable support 23 having flanged rollers 24, bracing directly on the track 3 is possible. A hopper 16 is provided at the receiving end 22 (see Fig. 4) .
In the inoperative position (see dash-and-dot lines in Fig. 2), the receiving end 22 of the auxiliary conveyor belt 20 is arranged - with respect to the horizontal - at a distance e from the receiving end 11 of the bottom conveyor belt 6, said distance corresponding to a single to double loading height L. In the operating position, a discharge end 12 of the auxiliary conveyor belt 20 is located above the receiving end 11 of the bottom conveyor belt 6. In the operating position, the discharge end 12 is arranged at a vertical distance dl from the bottom conveyor belt 6 which corresponds to a vertical distance d2 between a discharge end 25 of the projecting transfer conveyor belt 10 and the bottom conveyor belt 6. Thus, the discharge end 12 is located in that position in which a discharge end 25 of a transfer conveyor belt 10 of an adjoining storage wagon 1 would be located (see Fig. 1) . As a result, at higher speed of the bottom conveyor belt 6, bulk material can be transported through, or - at reduced belt speed - it can be stored at unrestricted height, as desired.
