Description:

State of the art :

For rear loading of trucks and containers with flat goods, rollers or ball bottoms are used according to the state of the art. The disadvantages of these devices are:

- technical complexity (price)

- high quality of scaffolding

- poor grip of pallets on rollers or balls

- Retrofitting finished vehicles or containers is hardly profitable

- Vehicles equipped with roller or ball floors are suitable for the transport of non-palletised goods

(e.g. bulk goods) can only be used to a limited extent

Task :

The invention has the task of driving palletized transport goods into vehicles or containers through the rear door using a power drive and ensuring that they are safely positioned there.

Further development of the invention:

The roller chains suggested can be installed in the loading area, recessed to just a few millimeters. They then hardly interfere with the transport of other goods and can easily be covered against bulk goods.

They can also be retrofitted on the loading area and can be used to transport non-palletized goods by placing intermediate pallets on the Ver be made to disappear.

The usual roller or wing surfaces are replaced by individual roller chains running across the loading area. Normally they are built into ^the loading area, recessed to within a few millimeters.

When loading, a pallet is placed on the chains through the rear door and moved in by one pallet width. Then the next one can follow, and so on. Unloading takes place in the opposite direction in the same way.

The illustrations show roller chains (3) that run partially recessed over the loading area and back underneath it. Many design variants, particularly with different return paths, are possible.

The roller chains have a drive that can be controlled for loading and unloading, as well as a locking mechanism. (Not shown in the picture.)

The transporting upper side of the chains can be equipped with various accessories, depending on the requirements. ' E.g. spsiks, metal or cast iron plates, threaded supports )
