The invention relates to an easy-to-open, sealable packaging with the features of the preamble of claim 1.

Packaging of this type is known in various designs and for various packaging goods. The lower part is usually made of a plastic film or a plastic composite film and has an edge flange lying in the connection plane, on which the flat or profiled lid part is placed. This can be made of metal or aluminum foil coated with a heat-sealing material or of a plastic film or of a plastic

material/metal composite film. After filling, the packaging is sealed over a linearly oriented surface area by cold or heat sealing, welding or gluing.

In many packages, the lid part must be peeled off the edge flange of the base part as a whole. This is time-consuming and requires skill and strength. The lid film often tears in the process, so that the lid part cannot be reliably separated from the base part without difficulty. Problems also exist insofar as the adhesive force does not meet the requirements for reliable sealing L J

and at the same time the lid part must be sufficiently easy to peel off. Pre-weakened lid parts have therefore already been provided in which a tear-open area is delimited by the line of weakness to which a grip tab is assigned. In these cases, the bonding force can only be selected from the point of view of a secure seal, since the packaging is opened by tearing open the lid part along the line of weakness. However, one problem here is the allocation and arrangement of the grip tab in relation to the tear-open area delimited by the line of weakness.

The object of the invention is to remedy this situation and to simplify and reduce the cost of producing such packaging without making handling of the packaging more difficult for the end consumer.

This problem is solved by the teaching of claim 1.

Due to this design, a handle section protruding over the edge of the packaging is not required. Therefore, there is no risk of a handle section being damaged or torn off or of the packaging becoming difficult to handle.

It is also not necessary to produce a separate handle section and attach it to the lid part. This simplifies production considerably.

The invention is suitable for both single-chamber and multi-chamber packaging. In the latter case, each chamber can be assigned a separate grip tab and made from the lid material.

Claim 2 is further developed. This further development ensures that the lid parts are prevented from tearing when the weakening line surrounding the handle section initially breaks. If the teaching of claim 3 is followed, the handle tab can be exposed without the filling chamber area of the packaging being broken or opened. The opening process can therefore be carried out in a manner that is not too complicated. It is important that the weakening line that borders the grip tab area merges into the weakening lines that border the tear-open area of the filling chamber of the packaging. The transition point over the web should be designed in a special way according to the teaching of claim 4.

The packaging consists of a lower part 120 with an edge flange 121 and a cover part iZ2 which is connected to the edge flange in a sealing manner, for example by sealing, and which can be flat or profiled. The cover part 122 can, for example, be made of (_ a metal foil, such as aluminum foil 130a, provided with a sealable layer 130b

(Fig.5), whereby the aluminum foil is provided with a weakening line 137 which defines a tear-open area.

In the packaging according to Figure 2, the lower part has several chambers that are separated from one another by webs 125. The upper side of the webs lies in the sealing plane of the edge flange, with the cover part 122 being sealingly connected to the lower part by sealing areas 123 along the edge flange and along the upper sides of the webs.

In the lid part, a tear-open area is delimited for each chamber by a weakening line 124 or 126a. The tear-open area 126 has a grip section 127 made of the material of the lid part, which projects over an adjacent web 125 and is delimited by a separate weakening line 127a, which merges into the weakening line 126 of the tear-open part.

To open, the weakening line 127a is broken by applying finger pressure to the grip tab 1Z7, whereupon the tear-off part 126 can be separated from the relevant chamber using the grip tab.

The crossing area between the grip tab and the top of the web 125 is designed with a lower adhesive force with respect to the sealing connection, so that the cover film peels off from the top of the web in the area of the grip tab when opened.

In order to prevent the adjacent film material of the cover part from accidentally collapsing when the grip tab 127 is pressed in, the arrangement is advantageously designed according to Figures 3 to 5. In this embodiment, the lower part has a grip section 140 completely

surrounding web 135, the top of which lies in the connecting plane and is sealed and firmly connected to the cover part 130 via a connecting or sealing line 136. The gripping tab 140 is delimited by a dividing line, which can have interruptions, or by a weakening line 141, which can be broken by finger pressure according to Figure 4. The weakening line 141 merges into the weakening line 138 of the adjacent tear-open area 132, delimiting a connecting section. As in the embodiment according to Figure ?, the gripping tab and the associated tear-open area lie on opposite sides of a web 134. The

a base that hermetically seals this area from the filling chamber area of the packaging. The base is profiled with a shoulder 143 as shown in Fig. 4, in such a way that when pressure is applied to the grip tab 140, the weakening line 141 tears and the grip tab 140 automatically raises to an easily graspable position.

The embodiments described with reference to the figures mentioned above can of course also be used optionally with packaging that has only a single filling chamber. In this case too, it is advantageous to arrange the gripping tab area over a part of the lower part delimited by the web and base, as shown in Figures 3 to 5 ·

^- In order to ensure that when opening with the help of the grip tab, the connecting area between the tear-off part and the grip tab does not tear off, but peels off from the associated web 142 (Fig. 4), the adhesive force is reduced in the narrowly defined crossing area between the grip tab or connecting part and the web.
