Die neuerungsgemäße automatische Skiwachsanlage ermöglicht es in ihrer besonders bevorzugten Ausführungsform dem Skifahrer, seine Skier automatisch optimal zu wachsen, ohne daß er die Skier hierzu abschnallen muß. Er braucht zu diesem Zweck nur eine Münze in den vorgesehenen Münzautomaten zu werfen und wird dann über Transportwalzen bzw. -rollen durch die automatische Skiwachsanlage gezogen. Während dieses Vorgangs, d.h. während der Skifahrer mit den angeschnallten Skiern durch die automatische Skiwachsanlage hindurchgezogen wird, werden die Skier zunächst durch ein Gebläse gesäubert und vorgewärmt, und dann wird über eine Wachsauftragswalze, insbesondere eine Metallwalze, heißes Wachs auf die Laufflächen der Skier aufgetragen.
