Description
It is known that alkali salts of sulfuric acid esters of higher aliphatic alcohols are used can be used to cleanse skin and hair. It is also known to use these substances as superfatting agents or wool grease add higher aliphatic alcohols. Nevertheless, such combinations swell and degrease the human skin is very strong and, with frequent use, can quickly become
to vollständigen Versprödung der Epidermis führen. They are therefore probably used as bath soap and to use as a shampoo for occasional use, but not as Cleanser for the face and hands for everyday use.
DemgegenüberWe have found that one can avoid these Ouellung and degreasing, when using the alkali metal salts of Schwefelsäureester higher aliphatic alcohols together with a water soluble salt of hexametaphosphoric and so much free metaphosphoric or hexametaphosphoric that the product in aqueous solution has a pH value between S and 6, i.e. has approximately the same degree of acidity as healthy skin or, in other words, is acidic. Through this measure, the outer skin layer is made swell-proof and astringent, so that the superficial sebum is emulsified away during cleaning, but no deep degreasing takes place. It is already known that sulfuric acid derivatives of aliphatic compounds can be used in a mixture with metaphosphate. However, these mixtures were only recommended as cleaning compounds for textiles, namely simple metaphosphate NaPO 3 , which reacts alkaline in aqueous solution, optionally with further addition of alkaline salts, e.g. B. Soda, used only for the purpose of water softening. In contrast

In the present case, neutral hexametaphosphate Xa 2 (Na 4 P 0 O 18 ) in the presence of free metaphosphoric acid HPO 3 or hexametaphosphoric acid H 2 (Xa 4 P 0 O 18 ) is used to string the skin. It wuiide already recommended 0.15 to 0.01 ° / 0 ^ Βϊη acid, add tartaric acid and citric acid to soaps. Since soaps always have an alkaline reaction as fatty acid alkali salts, ίο the small amounts of acids added are neutralized and are therefore not available as free acids. It is forbidden to add large amounts of these acids because they would completely break down the soaps. A skin acidic reaction of Pn = 5 - 6 is never achieved with these additives, rather the Pn value always remains in the alkaline range at 10 to 11. In addition, the acids mentioned have no protein-precipitating effect,
Besides the acidic, astringent cleansing, the present compositions have the advantage of firm consistency and easy malleability. They can be piled, pressed into strands, cut into pieces and embossed in the same way as is known from soap production, which could not be foreseen with the composition, which is completely different from soap compositions.
Ist dieser Punkt erreicht, dann läßt man erkalten, piliert unter Zugabe von 2 Teilen Vitamin F und 2 Teilen Duftstoff und preßt in üblicher Weise in Stränge und Stücke.105 parts of neutral sodium hexametaphosihat and 5 parts of metaphosphoric acid are mixed thoroughly with 385 parts of an aqueous paste containing about Ό the sodium salt of the sulfuric acid ester of the oil mixture, which is formed by reduction Λ νοή coconut oil fatty acid. Then 85 parts of stearyl alcohol and 0.1 part of acid-resistant, oil- and water-soluble dye are added to the mixture and the mixture is heated to about 110 ° C. with stirring until a sample taken is solid and hard at room temperature. Once this point has been reached, the mixture is allowed to cool, piled with the addition of 2 parts of vitamin F and 2 parts of fragrance and pressed into strands and pieces in the usual way.
