Description

Durch Raubbau, durch Anbau nicht standortgemäßer Baumarten sowie durch saure Niederschläge sind nicht nur die Waldbäume, sondern insbesondere auch die Waldböden betroffen, in denen starker Humusmangel herrscht.
Aufgrund dieses Mangels sind das mikrobielle Bodenleben, die Austauschkapazität für mineralische Nährstoffe, die Wasser- u. Luftkapazität der Waldböden stark beeinträchtigt, was außer den Luftschadstoffen in starkem Maße zum sog. "Waldsterben" beiträgt.
Es hat sich in Versuchen als zweckmäßig erwiesen, den geschädig­ ten Waldböden Wurmhumus zuzuführen.

Claims (1)

  1. Der Patentanspruch erstreckt sich auf die Zufuhr von Wurmhumus zu den geschädigten Waldböden, gekennzeichnet dadurch, daß Mist und andere organische Abfälle durch den Humuswurm Eisenia foetida zu Wurmhumus verarbeitet werden (Darmpassage durch den Wurm). Dieser Wurmhumus wird der obersten Waldbodenschicht beigemischt, wodurch dieser wieder biologisch belegt wird. Durch die dabei entstehenden Ton-Humus-Komplexe werden Aus­ tausch-, Wasser- und Luftkapazität der Waldböden verbessert, so daß wieder normaler Baumwuchs möglich sein wird.
