BESCHREIBUNGDESCRIPTION

The subject matter of the present application is the use of propolis in its use as a cream, for wound healing or wound treatment, i.e. open wound treatment, its production and the associated other forms of application.

The topical use of propolis under the premise of an anti-inflammatory agent, as well as a local anesthetic for mucous membranes and epithelial tissue, is already known. Here, propolis, with milk fat or other carrier substances as an ointment base, is to be used for local anesthetic, bactericidal and granulation-promoting treatment for injuries, burns, inflammation of the cutis and subcutis, fistula formation, necrosis, hoof and claw diseases, mud fever and laminitis, as well as for bruises (hematomas). It can also be used to promote granulation tissue in small to large wounds, as propolis in this combination has extremely high wound-cleansing (bactericidal) and granulation-promoting properties, but also as a skin and hoof care product.

Herstellung der Propolis Salbe:Production of propolis ointment:

4.) 15 grams of propolis granules after making the tincture as a residue after straining into 100 grams of pure milk fat, or other carrier substances as an ointment base (15% propolis cream)

By using propolis ointment in the above-mentioned areas of application, several tests have shown that the wound heals from the periphery and forms intact granulation tissue, without even scarring. It can therefore be assumed that the use of propolis ointment leads to a restitutio ad integrum of the entire tissue system.

Dies konnte wie folgt festgestellt werden:It has also been confirmed by several tests that when propolis is used in the manufacturing processes described under 1-4 as a skin care or hoof care product for hoofed animals, these animals suffer from far fewer problems with regard to necrobacillosis, laminitis, hoof cracks, mud fever, etc. It was also found in the various tests that propolis has an anesthetic effect. This was determined as follows:

When treating a horse with a large flesh wound, propolis ointment was applied to the wound and the surrounding wound area using the method described under 4.

During the first treatment, the animal still showed pain symptoms, which, however, disappeared during the second treatment just 5 hours later.

The animal also tolerated subsequent treatments without any problems.

Tag zu einer Proliferation kam und die Regeneration des Gewebes bereits eingesetzt hatte, eine entzündliche Exsudation bliebIt was further determined that proliferation had already occurred after the second day and tissue regeneration had already begun, but inflammatory exudation remained

Granulation occurred from the periphery. After just 10 days, the wound was closed and no scarring was evident.

In a later experiment, a horse was also treated which had suffered a significant hematoma on the left hind fetlock due to a wrong step. Here too, propolis ointment was used, with the result that the swelling and blood circulation were back to normal after just 12 hours.

The next case to be treated was a horse with a gunshot wound to the left hind leg. Considerable swelling, with all the cardinal signs of inflammation.

Here, too, a propolis ointment treatment was initiated, with the result of rapid healing and a restitutio ad integrum within 4 days.

Festzuhalten sei, dass es von dem Zeitpunkt der auslösenden Ursache einer Verletzung bishin zur Regeneration, die Abläufe bzw. die Teilaspekte einer Reaktion des Gewebes um einIt should be noted that from the time of the triggering cause of an injury to the regeneration, the processes or the partial aspects of a tissue reaction are a

It is known that in 1954 GAPTRACHIMANOWA experimentally used this ointment to treat necrobacilli in sheep, horses and cattle, achieving a cure rate of 84%.

The highest therapeutic effects were also achieved in burns, with healing occurring in only 50% of the time normally required.
