Abstract
Η παρούσα εφεύρεση αφορά ένα βελτιωμένο παρασκεύασμα μεσεγχυματικών στρωματικών κυττάρων (MSC) και μία μέθοδο για την παραγωγή του ιδίου. Η εφεύρεση παρέχει μία νέα στρατηγική για την απομόνωση MSC από μονοπύρηνα κύτταρα μυελού των οστών (BM-MNCs) δια ομαδοποίησης BM-MNCs πολλαπλών μη συγγενών (τρίτου μέρους) δοτών μυελού των οστών. Το παρασκεύασμα MSC που παρασκευάζεται σύμφωνα με τη μεθοδολογία της εφεύρεσης χαρακτηρίζεται από μία σταθερή πολλαπλασιαστική ικανότητα και ένα αυξημένο ανοσοκατασταλτικό δυναμικό όταν συγκρίνεται με τα παρασκευάσματα MSC μεμονωμένου δότη ή μία ομάδα μεμονωμένων MSCs που παράγονται από πολλαπλούς δότες. Τα MSCs που παρασκευάζονται σύμφωνα προς την εφεύρεση είναι ιδιαίτερα χρήσιμα για ιατρικές εφαρμογές όπως για τη θεραπεία της νόσου μοσχεύματος έναντι ξενιστή (GvHD) σε δέκτες με μοσχεύματα αιμοποιητικών βλαστοκυττάρων, ασθενείς με αυτοάνοσες διαταραχές και ως μία θεραπεία κυτταρικής βάσης στην αναγεννητική ιατρική.
