Abstract

1.- Un método para el tratamiento de una infección micótica o bacteriana local que comprende la administración oral de una cantidad efectiva de un agente anti-infeccioso y la administración local concurrente de una composición tópica externa que comprende una cantidad efectiva de un agente de alivio tópico para mejorar los síntomas locales.2.- Un método para el tratamiento de una infección micótica local que comprende la administración oral de una cantidad antimicótica efectiva de un agente antimicótico y la administración local concurrente de una composición tópica externa que comprende un agente antimicótico.3.- Un método para el tratamiento de una infección micótica vaginal, que comprende la administración oral de una cantidad antimicótica efectiva de un agente antimicótico y la administración vulvar concurrente de una composición tópica externa que comprende un agente antimicótico.4.- Un método para el tratamiento de una infección micótica vaginal que comprende la administración oral de fluconazol y la administración vulvar concurrente de una composición tópica externa que comprende fluconazol.5.- Un método para el tratamiento de una infección micótica vaginal que comprende la administración oral de fluconazol en una cantidad desde alrededor de 75 hasta alrededor de 150 mg/día durante uno hasta tres días, y la administración vulvar concurrente de una composición tópica externa que comprende un agente antimicótico seleccionado del grupo que consiste de nitrato de miconazol, fluconazol, terconazol, butoconazol, clotrimazol, y combinaciones de los mismos.6.- Un método para el tratamiento de una infección micótica vaginal que comprende la administración oral de fluconazol en una cantidad desde alrededor de 75 hasta alrededor de 150 mg/día y la administración vulvar concurrente de una composición tópica externa que comprende un agente antiinflamatorio.7.- Un método para el tratamiento de una infección micótica vaginal que comprende la administración oral de fluconazol en una cantidad desde alrededor de 125 hasta alrededor de 150 mg y la administración vulvar concurrente de una composición tópica externa que comprende un agente emoliente.
