Abstract
Se proporciona un sistema para procesar una carga circulante en el circuito de conminución de un proceso de separación de minerales para separar partículas minerales de interés de un mineral, que presenta: una pantalla gruesa y un circuito mejorado de separación de minerales (EMSC). La pantalla gruesa puede configurarse para recibir un bajo flujo de ciclón que tenga partículas minerales de interés y que forme parte de la carga circulante del circuito de conminución, y proporcione alimentaciones de pantalla gruesa para procesamiento adicional. El circuito mejorado de separación de minerales puede incluir un procesador de recolección configurado para recibir una de las alimentaciones de pantalla gruesa, y también puede incluir al menos un aparato de recolección ubicado en el procesador de recolección, el al menos un aparato de recolección tiene una superficie de recolección configurada con un polímero funcionalizado que comprende una pluralidad de moléculas que tienen un grupo funcional configurado para atraer las partículas minerales de interés a la superficie de recolección, y proporcionar alimentaciones de circuito mejorado de separación de minerales para su posterior procesamiento en el sistema.
