Abstract
L'invention concerne un procédé de production pyrométallurgique du cuivre dans un convertisseur. L'invention est caractérisée en ce que pendant toutes les étapes du procédé (chargement du convertisseur par une masse fondue brute renfermant du cuivre, traitement de la masse fondue en vue de produire du Cu2S et du laitier, élimination du laitier, conversion du Cu2S en Cu, vidange du convertisseur), du gaz est introduit à chaque fois dans la masse fondue.
