Abstract

L'invention concerne des composants (tels que des pointes d'usure et des pointes de réserve pour broyeur rotatif de matières minérales) fabriqué selon le procédé suivant: (i) on place dans un moule au moins une masse de carbure d'un métal de transition dur [de préférence, après un traitement thermique visant à éliminer les volatils en surface]; (ii) on remplit le moule comportant une masse (des masses) de carbure d'un métal de transition dur avec, de préférence, de la fonte à graphite sphéroïdal ou de la fonte à alliage nickel chrome; (iii) et l'on enlève du moule le moulage composite (par destruction du moule ou d'une autre façon). On obtient alors un lien métallurgique entre la masse (les masses) de carbure de métal et les résultats de masse contenant du fer. Le carbure préféré et celui de tungstène ou de chrome (les particules étant liées de préférence sous une forme allongée).
