Abstract

UTILIZAçãO DE LIPOPOLISSACARìDEO EM CONDENSADO DE RESPIRAçãO EXALADO PARA DIAGNOSTICAR PNEUMONIA GRAM-NEGATIVA. A presente invenção refere-se a um método para determinar se um indivíduo possui uma pneumonia bacteriana Gram-negativa com base na presença de lipopolissacarídeo em condensado de respiração exalado coletado a partir de um individuo. Os dispositivos de coleta utilizado para coletar condensado de respiração exalado tanto a partir de indivíduos que respiram espontaneamente ou mecanicamente ventilados e os dispositivos utilizados para determinar se o lipopolissacarídeo está presente no condensado de respiração exalado.
