Abstract
PROCESSO PARA A PRODUçãO DE áCIDO TEREFTáLICO. Processo para produção de ácido tereftálico compreendendo: a, descarregar de um reator de oxidação uma corrente de bruto compreendendo sólidos de ácido tereftálico bruto, catalisador, impurezas, e solvente, e b, sem adicionar uma alimentação fresca de ácido acético à dita corrente de bruto, separar uma parte do solvente, catalisador e pelo menos uma impureza, da dita corrente de bruto, para formar: bi) uma composição de licor mãe compreendendo os ditos separados solvente, catalisador e a dita pelo menos uma impureza, e bii) uma composição de ácido tereftálico, com a água removida, compreendendo uma parte remanescente do solvente, catalisador, impurezas, e com uma concentração enriquecida em sólidos de ácido tereftálico bruto, em relação ao teor de sólidos na corrente de bruto. O processo apresenta a vantagem de remover uma concentração mais alta de impurezas e/ou catalisador na corrente de licor mãe, e/ou alimentar a corrente de licor mãe para um processo de remoção de impurezas e/ou recuperação de catalisador, com uma vazão reduzida, reduzindo deste modo o tamanho dos equipamentos necessários nesse processo.
