Abstract

"DISPERSõES AQUOSAS DE MICROPARTìCULAS TENDO UMA FASE NANOPARTICULADA; COMPOSIçõES DE REVESTIMENTO CONTENDO A MESMA; MéTODO DE PREPARAçãO DESTAS E SUBSTRATO REVESTIDO". A presente invenção é dirigida para uma dispersão aquosa de micropartículas compreendendo nanopartículas e a métodos de preparação da dispersão, assim como, a composições contendo tais dispersões. A dispersão é preparada através das seguintes etapas: (a) proporcionar uma pluralidade de nanopartículas tendo um tamanho médio de partículas de 300 nanómetros ou menos; (b) misturar as ditas nanopartículas com um polímero dispersível em um meio solvente aquoso ou com (1) um ou mais monómeros etilenicamente insaturados polimerizáveis; e/ou (2) uma mistura de um ou mais monómeros insaturados polimerizáveis com um ou mais polímeros, de modo a formar uma mistura; (c) submeter a dita mistura a altas condições de esforço de cisalhamento na presença de um solvente orgânico ou de um meio aquoso, de modo a particularizar a mistura na forma de micropartículas; e (d) opcionalmente, polimerizar os ditos monómeros etilenicamente insaturados sob condições de polimerização de radical livre.
