Abstract

"MéTODO E SISTEMA PARA ALIMENTAR E QUEIMAR UM COMBUSTìVEL PULVERIZADO EM UM FORNO DE FUNDIçãO DE VIDRO, E QUEIMADOR PARA O USO NO MESMO". Um método e um sistema para fornecer e queimar um combustível pulverizado como coque de petróleo em um forno de fundição de vidro incluindo uma área de fundição de vidro e uma pluralidade de queimadores associados a um par de câmaras de regeneração justapostas e vedadas que agem como permutadores de calor, em que os queimadores estão dispostos em uma série de portas associadas à área de fundição de vidro do forno. O sistema inclui dispositivos para fornecer o combustível pulverizado através de cada um dos queimadores a fim de fundir o material bruto e produzir vidro. As emissões de gás de combustão geradas pelo processo de queima do combustível no forno são controladas para manter os gases de combustão limpos e reduzir as emissões ou impurezas geradas pelo combustível, por exemplo SOx, NO~ x~ e particulados. As câmaras de regeneração são fornecidas com refratários selecionados de magnésio, alumina-sílica-zircónia ou magnésio e zircónia-silicato, para contrapor aos efeitos abrasivos e erosivos do processo de queima do combustível na câmara de fundição de vidro.
