<b>''processo de polimerização de ácidos graxos insaturados, ésteres de ácidos graxos insaturados, hidrocarbonetos insaturados, ou derivados insaturados destes produtos por aquecimento dielétrico''<d> a presente invenção se refere a um processo de polimerização de ácidos graxos insaturados, ésteres de ácidos graxos insaturados, hidrocarbonetos insaturados ou derivados insaturados destes produtos por aquecimento dielétrico, assim como os polímeros obtidos e as utilizações destes polímeros. de acordo com a invenção o processo de polimerização é caracterizado pelo fato de que o reagente ou a mistura reacional é submetida a um aquecimento dielétrico, isto é, sob freqüências compreendidas entre aproximadamente 30 ghz e aproximadamente 3 mhz (freqüências de rádio ou microondas) para executar a polimerização; que funciona com ou sem catalisador; os reagentes são ácidos graxos, ésteres de ácidos graxos, óleos vegetais ou animais, hidrocarbonetos do tipo politerpenos ou poliisobuteno, ou ainda os derivados destes produtos, que compreendam pelo menos uma insaturação utilizados sozinhos ou em combinação.
