Abstract
"MéTODO PARA CONVERTER GáS NATURAL EM HIDROCARBONETOS LìQUIDOS". Um processo para converter gás natural em um líquido inclui aquecer o gás até uma faixa de temperatura selecionada, para converter uma fração da corrente de gás em hidrocarbonetos reativos, principalmente acetileno, e reagir metano e os hidrocarbonetos reativos na presença de um catalisador acídico para produzir um líquido, predominantemente pentano. O hidrogênio resultante das reações é utilizado para aquecer o gás natural entrante, ou com um forno a hidrogênio ou com energia elétrica gerada a partir do hidrogênio. Pouco ou nenhum uso do metano é necessário para fornecer energia ao processo.
