Abstract
"TRATAMENTO DE MINéRIOS DE SULFETOS METáLICOS USTULADOS E DE FERRITAS POR LIXIVIAçãO COM O áCIDO PEROXISULFúRICO". Processo para o tratamento de um ustulado minério de sulfetos metálicos, para a separação dos metais nele contidos. o processo compreende lixiviar o ustulado minério com o ácido peroxisulfúrico, opcionalmente em presença de gás cloro, e separando uma solução contendo os metais. O processo é particularmente útil na separação de cobre e zinco a partir dos minérios de sulfetos daqueles metais, em particular quando o minério foi submetido a uma ustulação completa ou a uma ustulação de sulfatização e o minério ustulado contém então ferritas as quais de outro modo requerem altas concentrações de ácido e altas temperaturas de lixiviação para a recuperação dos metais nele contidos."TREATMENT OF USTULATED METALLIC SULPHIDE ORES AND FERRITES BY Leaching WITH PEROXISULFURIC ACID". Process for the treatment of a roasted ore of metal sulphides, for the separation of the metals contained therein. the process comprises leaching the roasted ore with peroxysulfuric acid, optionally in the presence of chlorine gas, and separating a solution containing the metals. The process is particularly useful in separating copper and zinc from the sulphide ores of those metals, particularly when the ore has been subjected to full roasting or sulphating roasting and the roasted ore then contains ferrites which would otherwise require high acid concentrations and high leaching temperatures for the recovery of the metals contained therein.
